Horribly uncomfortable around children.
Smoking hot…

Kevin admitted he would “do” her before anybody else…in the world.
May 23rd, 2006 10:12
She’s in denial that she loves Jim more than she loves Roy, her fiancee.
May 23rd, 2006 11:59
Won whitest sneakers award at the Dundies after previous tortuous years of the longest engagement award, Thanks Jim!
Is a really good artist but doesn’t have the guts to do anything with it…Jim is encouraging of her talent but Roy isn’t.

Very close with her mother, as evidenced in “Sexual Harrasment” and “Casino Night”…
May 23rd, 2006 12:36
Barring unforseen purse salesladies, she is regarded as the office flame. Often sidekick to Jim’s escapades in her free time, her duties as a receptionist include changing magazine subscriptions, maintaining coworkers’ love lives, and embarressing Michael at the most oppurtune times. In light of this, she often proves to be the most thoughtful and sensitive of the office staff, even in the face of Michael’s thoughtlessness or Angela’s judgemental behavior.
Romantically, Pam seems to have fallen head over heels in love with Jim, which is only complicated by her ever-postponed engagement with Roy, the insensitive, warehouse-working “guy.”
May 23rd, 2006 12:40
Michael makes sexually oriented jokes about her, she hates it.
May 23rd, 2006 12:46
Michael has many nicknames for Pam such as: Honerable Pamera (not offensive cuz that’s how they talk in movies) Pamster (Pam+ Spam+ Hamster) and Pama-lama-ding-dong.

Attended Marywood University in Scranton from 2001-2001, majored in Art

Pam is engaged to warehouse worker Roy. They were engaged for three years before setting the date for June 10th. Pam’s best friend is Jim Halpert, and she can sometimes be seen giving him longing looks, just like the ones he gives her. Pam is a good artist and wanted to try an internship in New York for graphic design, but the idea was turned down by Roy. Pam is very close to her mom, and from what we know from “Sexual Harrasment” and “Casino Night” often talks about Jim. According to Jim Pam is warm, easy to talk to, and has a great sense of humor. Although she might not love everything about her life, she is comfortable and doesn’t want to risk giving that up.

Her favorite chip flavor is French Onion, The Fight.

Loves Soduko.
Has always wanted a house with a terrace.
Gets 10 vacation days a year.

Is more in control of the office (and Michael) then Michael would let on:
“Sometimes I don’t put Michael on right away. I think of it as a practice run for him. He usually does better the second time.”
May 24th, 2006 12:12
She is the only member of the office who openly acknowledges that she knows Dwight and Angela are together.
Every year, when the office goes over the company Sexual Harassment policy, people harass Pam as a joke.
Buys Dwight’s pencil cup from the vending machine.
Makes a fake call in the warehouse and talks about downsizing to trick Dwight in “The Alliance.”
Loves to laugh at Jim’s high school picture.
Once put taco sauce on a hot dog by accident.
Was left at a minor league hockey game by Roy.
Came up with the name for the game of Flonkerton. Made the medals and doves for the Office Olympics.
May 24th, 2006 18:51
Her favorite yogurt is Mixed Berry.
Likes Dwight only when he has a unknown concussion.
Desires an Ipod.
Loves tea and french onion chips.
Always rides to and from work in Roy’s truck.
If she stays behind at office functions she usually rides with Angela.
Loves the pffft sound in Free Cell.
Plays spider solitare and looks up things on the internet during work–like palm reading.
She gets upset when she thinks about how long she has been engaged.
Part of her job is highlighting things and begging Michael to finish his work so she can send it to corporate.
Has forged Michael’s signature many times (with other co-workers) so they can go home at a decent hour.
Was NOT a cheerleader in High School.

She loves to do illustrations, especially watercolor, and when Jan gives her the opportunity to be a part of a graphic design internship, Jim is very encouraging, but Roy shoots down the idea saying “it won’t lead anywhere”
Last year her performance review started with Michael asking her what he hopes and dreams are, and ended with him saying he could bench press 190 pounds…so she didn’t really know what to expect

There is so much to be said about Pam Beesly. We can all look at her and say she is crazy for not leaving Roy to be with Jim, who is so perfect for her, but it’s not that easy and clear cut. We have to actually put ourselves in her position. She has been with Roy for so long, and they are so comfortable with each other. Also I’m sure their families and friends are close, could you imagine the pain she would cause everyone if they ever broke up. I think she loves Roy but not in the way she loves Jim and she knows it. She also knows that in the end there isn’t much she can do about it, she is too nice to hurt other people. All very sad, but it’s suppose to be real and that is reality.
She seems to genuinely care about being a good secretary to Michael. She could let him look like a fool on the phone, but she doesn’t. Also even though she gives Dwight trouble she seems to care about him too. In Valentines Day and The Injury she try to help him as best she can. These are small details but I think they shows a lot about her character.

According to Michael (deleted scenes from the Pilot) Pam has been “sprayed on” by every guy in the office.
May 25th, 2006 13:52
“I’d like to thank my Keds…” Awesome. That is a great picture of Pam. Sometimes she looks a bit on the frumpy side. Doesn’t like to trouble her finace with her thoughts and feelings. Kissed Jim back on Casino Night! So important!
May 26th, 2006 13:11
Introduced me to the term “second drink,” from Dundies…when all the ice melts at the bottom of the drink it’s like second drink…the kind of stuff you make up just before you kiss a guy other than your finace right in front of your fellow employees and then fall off a bar stool. Oh yeah, and then get banned from Chili’s because you drank too much.
May 27th, 2006 13:04
Does not like garbage thrown at her.
May 27th, 2006 20:44
likes to do illustrations…mostly watercolor, some oil pencil…Jim thinks they’re good…
Doesn’t think many girls want to grow up to be be receptionists

Pam’s favorite movies are Dazed and Confused, Princess Bride, Fargo, Edward Scissorhands, and Breakfast Club.
June 6th, 2006 06:17
And Also Legally Blond, though she doesn’t want to admit it. : )
June 7th, 2006 10:03
We never find out her all time favorite movie.
Kisses Jim while drunk, then kisses him back in finale.
Doesn’t go for graphic design internship.
Getting married June 10th.
October 16th, 2006 15:38
Yeah, she didn’t get married. She got cold feet a few days before…and she can’t explain it, she just had to get out of that relationship…They still had to pay for the food so they froze it. But she’s doing okay, she has her own apartment and she’s taking art classes, and she has lunch for the next five weeks.
She also bought a new car, and some new clothes for after work because…because she just thought it was time to buy new clothes.
She went on a blind date with a cartoonist from the local paper but it wasn’t a love connection…when she likes someone again she thinks she’ll just kind of know.
