D&M Address, Dwight’s Number
Thanks to the contest, there are a ton of new readers and I’ve been getting a lot of great e-mail. I hope this continues!!
Kurt Luther writes in with these Tidbits:
- The Office address is:
Dunder Mifflin Incorporated
Paper Company
1725 Slough Avenue
Scranton, Pennsylvania 18505“Slough” is a sly reference to the name of the area in which the British “The Office” takes place.
- Dwight’s phone number: (717) 555-0177
- In Season 2, episode 6, Kevin’s email program shows Pam Beesly’s name misspelled as “Pam Beasly.”
If you have more interesting tidbits that you have picked up on, please send them in. I’ll be sure to give you credit…and you’ll make all of us look intelligent when we are watching “The Office” with our friends.

It’s funny that they’re still using “717″ as the area code. Scranton switched from 717 to 570 almost 10 years ago.

By the way, I got Dwight’s phone number and the ZIP code from the part where he’s correcting his business card to say “Assistant Regional Manager.” The rest of the address is from a sign near Pam’s desk.

In the episode “The Dundiees” after Pam and Jim leave Chili’s in the background you see Oscar with his partner…later on you see him more in the episode “The Secret” where Oscar calls in sick.

This might not be considered a tidbit, but I noticed that in the beginning of the show Kelly is very conservatively dressed, and she’s quiet, and then her character suddenly starts dressing differently and being all about gossip.
