Sounds like Michael has a history of getting burned by the most unlikely of electronic devices (a boom box, George Foreman grill)!
Also, I think that Michael Scott would be a big fan of “Babe” by Styx. Don’t know why, but I just have a sneaking suspicion.

I think Michael needed to add some techno/club mix of something. Just to try and seem cool and “with it”. Or something really popular that he really doesn’t like.
But over all — how can you mess with a piece of comedy like that?
