I was shocked, to say the least. I have to agree that the kiss was PERFECT! He made the first move, but you could almost see her body melt into his as she responded. Very well done by the two of them. Very well done.
I loved this kiss! It was so passionate without being.. lusty(? is that the word I’m going for?), just as a true first kiss should be. (I’m not counting the Dundies since she was drunk and we all know how that goes…) Anyway, it was so well done I almost felt bad for watching what seemed to be such a private moment. (The key word there was “almost”!) It was just beautiful.
I barelly remember the kiss I was so much shock and excited!!!! a complete 10 though!
Remember the first kiss between Jan and Michael in the Chili’s parking lot? What a vast difference between this one and that one.

I agree with Brian. That kiss was nice, but they were both drunk. This kiss was absolutely stunning, and I am looking at it as not just the end of this season, but the beginning of the next. It is not just a perfect kiss, but the true begining of a drama that will comedically carry on through the next season, and maybe more seasons. It was amazing.

It gave me butterflies. Even looking at the picture makes me grin from ear-to-ear.
I think it was perfect. One of Jenna and Jim’s strengths is their non-verbal acting skills. The subtle way they use their bodies – their eyes, their smiles, their posture – it’s really amazing acting.
The best part was she totally kissed him back. She didn’t just stand there, but she fell into him. Something I’ve always wanted to happen.

Not sure if anyone saw this on the Office NBC site… but under the picture of Pam and Jim kissing, the caption says,
“A conflicted Pam called her mom for advice and admitted she was in love with Jim. She ended the conversation early when Jim walked in on her. He didn’t say anything, he just kissed her and she kissed him back.”
I’m glad that I am not the only one who went completely nut-bar over the end of this episode. My husband thought I had lost it. I’ve re-watched the last 3 minutes of this show now 4 times this morning and still have heart palpitations.

I wish I was Jim, well I am a Jim, I just wish I was “the” Jim. I’ve had a crush on a girl in my office, years ago and it was tense, and when we finally kissed it was just like that. Sweet, soft, tender, and tenison that only a knif could cut. I married her! I’m not sure what’s the power this show has over us, but I can’t wait for next year. When Jimmy Jr, comes to work on bring your son to work day.

I absolutely loved the kiss! It was perfect. I’ve been on the receiving end of a kiss just like that and it is such a rush. It brought back so many great memories. Oh, and as a Scrantonian myself (born and raised, now live in MA) I just love the show, this site and the Scranton Insider (I’m from West Side, too). =)
There is nothing better than that kiss, it killed me and will continue to do so until we find out what happens next season!

I record The Office on DVR, ao I re-watched the entire episode again today. And then the end another 3 times! So fantastically well done. You felt like you could hear Pam’s mom on the other end of the phone. And then the kiss…so sweet and so sexy….Perfect! Can’t wait until next season!!!

I kept thinking about this kiss until the next morning. It really was perfect. It was made everything seem so real. So heartfelt. It gave me butterflies just watching them. They are so cute. I kept watching the video on YouTube over and over.
That last episode wrecked me! I’ve never felt myself care for TV characters so much as I do for this show. Perhaps it’s how they make everything so genuine in the dialogue and the acting.
That was a phenomenal ending, with a perfect kiss. I’ve actually been pretty down and out since the finale, having re-watched the show multiple times, needing desparately to see what happens to them both – needing to see it work out.

They must have changed what it says on the NBC site. Now it says:

No mention of Pam stating that she loves Jim back.
I now have hope that love is real! Yay JAM! Nothing short of perfection.
