    Went on the booze cruise to observe Michael’s “talk.”

    I believe she is the employee from corporate Jim asked out on a phone message in episode where he shares desk space with Kelly for the day.

    When this episode aired, I thought they were introducing a new character to the show. I kind of liked her character, actually. Nice to see more corporate dunder mifflinites.

    Emily, that’s correct. And I have a little theory. We’ll see what happens, but I think she may pop up again in Season 3.

    Also, Jim cuts out early on the episode “Take Your Daughter to Work Day” because of a date. We don’t ever find out who it’s with, but it’s logical that it might be Brenda.

    Her full name, according to Michael, is Brenda “Something”

    Is based at the corporate office in New York.

    Michael told her he takes “Vomicilin.”

    Jim left a voicemail asking her out.

    Full name is Brenda Matlo, from the deleted scenes on the NBC website.

    I don’t want any more “whores” from corporate messing things up for Michael. Hopefully Jim won’t be moving to a branch where she is more involved.

    I had mixed feeling about this character. She seemed to be kind of judgmental and looked down on the office employees, especially Michael. Maybe that’s not true it just seemed to be the impression I got. Also I don’t think Jim and Brenda would be a good match. She doesn’t seem to be the kind of person that laughs a lot. I know this all sounds mean but we only got to see her in one episode, this could change. : )

    Brenda Matlo is so naive! To think, this would be a normal office. Come on! The look that she gives Michael is classic. Lets see what we can infer…lives in NYC or the 5 boroughs area. Works with Jan. Not going to “screw” (as Dwight so cleverly put it) Michael though.

    Jim seemed to be stalking her in TYDTWD, emails, voicemail. Sad. I hope they never go out, they’re a terrible match.

    In the deleted scenes of “Drug Testing” Pam tells Jim he’s getting a call from someone named Brenda, but since he was under “Jinx” and not allowed to talk, he didn’t answer the phone. She apparently didn’t leave a message because in the next scene he writes on a piece of paper and shows the camera, “It’s okay, she’ll call back.”

    When Jim asked this woman out I was SO confused…they didn’t even really talk on the booze cruise…hmm.
