Season 2 Episode 4
A fire in the kitchen forces the staff outside, leading them play a game of “Desert Island” to mitigate the boredom. Meanwhile, Michael tries to impress Ryan with his business savvy—making Dwight feel threatened.
I loved it when Dwight takes it upon himself to usher the workers out. He takes his job so seriously and then totally gets snubbed by the real firemen.
Also, the whole story of Michael teaching Ryan the rules of business really cracked me up. “Adapt, React, Readapt, Apt”

Dwight singing “We Didn’t Start the Fire” in his interview is my first favorite.
All the guys calling out Pam for the who would you do question is number two, and Michael saying he would definately have sex with Ryan.
*sigh*

Michael running out the door and pushing people out of the way to get out is awesome.
ALso Roy’s part is just hilarious. Pissing off Pam by picking Angela and reacting to Jim choosing Kevin.
I really loved after Dwight got upset and sat in his Camaro and cranked up “Everybody Hurts”
Also that fact that Dwight’s movie is the “The Crow”
Did you notice how Angela was also helping to usher everyone out of the office? Foreshadowing? I can’t remember when this originally aired.
For the Jim/Pam fanatic in me, I love seeing Pam jealous!
I have to agree with Chris B. The absolute funniest part though is when Michael says he would definitely have sex with Ryan. Everyone else is saying “I’d do…” but Michael has to spell it out graphically and say “have sex with”. It is so funny!
Meg … Angela is the office safety person .. she was doing her job, previous episodes talked about it.
I liked when Dwight was in the car, with ‘everybody hurts’ on really loud.
During desert island, ‘who would you do’ Michael picks Ryan and Jim picks Kevin, ‘the teddybear thing going on, afterward we can just watch bowling’
Ryan and Michael in the back of Ryans car, and Ryan being really uncomfortable.
and of course ‘ryan started the fire’
Yeah I think it was the Basketball episode (?) where Angela says “I’m the safety officer, not you!” to Dwight, so it looks like that competition carries over when they’re trying to out-shout instructions to everybody. (Is out-shout a word? I think I just made that up)
I loved the scene with Dwight in the car. Jim and Pam were trying SO hard not to laugh. I can’t remember if on one of Jenna Fischer’s blogs she said they were trying really hard not to break character during that scene.

I loved when Dwight yelled “Do you want to die !!!” & also when Michael was the first out the door.

I have a question. Did Roy really pick Angela or was he thinking of someone famous because I really don’t think he’d be interested in Angela. I thought he was talking about Jessica Simpson or someone like that…

I also liked the shot of Dwight when the fire truck comes as he jumps and pumps his fist in the air
I agree with what everyone posted, but I always rewind the scene of Michael running threw the hallway. The way he is running with his arms at his side cracks me up!

Margerie is sick and ryan needs a permanent number…maybe we’ll see Margerie in the future…..not my favorite part, just thought it was worth mentioning
When the girls continue to play who would you do, and Pam suggests Toby. Everyone else says no, but Meredith is nodding.
I love this whole episode, but I have to give this one to Roy. “You guys are all gay,” had me laughing for a long time!
