Briefly: Pay Raise, Rainn’s New Movie

A couple quick tidbits:

  • Steve Carell will be getting $175k per episode next year. That’s double the pay he received last season. That’s good for him, although Michael Scott quote’s “mo’ money, mo’ problems”. The article also mentions some time off in the shooting schedule for Steve Carrel to film some of his movies. I hope this doesn’t mean that we’ll have breaks in the season as well.

  • Rainn Wilson (Dwight) will be play, what seems to be a large part, in “My Super Ex-Girlfriend“. The move looks a little strange, but I’ll probably go watch it anyway. If you want to see a preview, you can view it here. It opens July 21.

I saw a clip of the Rainn film and was excited to see his face. Too bad the movie looks like crap.

I think the movie looks funny and Ivan Reitman is a great comedy director.
