Jenna Fischer (Pam) Here and There
We have been waiting for Jenna’s time on Celebrity Poker Showdown for quite some time and this week it finally happens. From what I can tell, she’ll be on this Wednescay at 9PM. Check out the site to see her bio page and the poker schedule. Now we’ll be able to tell if she’d really be able to take on Jim like she did in Casino Night.
Also, Marc wrote in to let me know that Jenna was recently in an issue of Backstage Magazine. The magazine sat down with four Potential Emmy nominees and Jenna was among them. She shares some intersting stories about her audition or the Pam role:
It was funny because there was this one girl there who was sort of the upscale, elegant version of my character. She would be Pam if the show took place in New York. I remember walking into the holding area and looking at her shoes and thinking, “Those are totally wrong for Pam; she would never own a pair of shoes like that.” I very much had my idea of Pam in mind.

Jenna also keeps a myspace page, for anyone who doesn’t already know. She’s just “Pam” if you go on there to do a search for her. She blogs occasionally, and has links to a couple of the other actors’ myspace pages on her friends page. Any of you myspace users should definitely check it out!
