Geting Excited For Season 3

They recently had a panel discussion at USC with the creative writers or The Office. I was hoping a LITO reader would go, but I haven’t heard from anyone yet. Luckily, the community at LiveJournal went and they found out some interesting things.

-We finally get a chance to meet Dwight’s cousin and see his beet farm!
-Jim, Michael and Dwight go to a paper convention. (I guess this means that Jim will be returning to Scranton)
-They will be shooting in location for season 3 and it will most likely be at a St. Patty’s Day parade.
-We’ll get a chance to see more of Vance of Vance Refrigeration + we’ll meet Leo and Gino, two VF employees.
-Kent Zbornak said that as of right now there are no plans for cast members from the original series to appear in the US version.
-BJ said that even though the show was in ‘real time’ there were no immediate plans to have the characters see the documentary. They ideally would not want that to happen until the last season because it would be a little too out of this world.

Do any of those excite you?

And, as if that doesn’t get us excited enough, here is another great movie from our own Becky. It’s a serious teaser for Season 3.

If you are from Northeast PA, you will know that them filming the Scranton St. Patty’s Day parade is a BIG BIG deal. That is the biggest event of the year in that area. THEY RUN BUSSES FROM SURROUNDING CITIES AND TOWN JUST SO PEOPLE CAN GET LIT UP! I, personally, cannot wait for that episode. It is going to be wild!

I think Jim did take the job. He’ll probably head off to Stamford, but will be back to Scranton. He told Jan, anyway, that he was taking the transfer, so yeah.

About all the news: awesome awesome awesome! As if i wasn’t excited enough, this is icing on the cake! I can NOT wait until Jim, Michael, and Dwight go to the paper convention together! You KNOW that’s going to be a blast (reminds me a little of The Injury - the three of them together = comic gold!)!

I was a little disappointed about the original cast not making an appearance, but that’s just as of now. I’m hoping for some appearances sometime during the next season (Gareth and Tim…goodness).

Anyways, thanks for all the info! Wish i could have been there!

I’m sooo excited. I can’t wait till the new season starts. I know it has nothing to do on what we’re commenting on, but I need advice. Should i order the seasone 2 dvd on amazon, or should I just wait till the release day, go to target and pray that they have it in stock. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
    THANKs

    Hot damn, good video.

I hate saying it, but the more time passes the more I’m convinced Pam does not share Jim’s feelings. For her, he’s a just a diversion from Roy. Jim’s going to fall hard (or probably already has in real time).

Jenny, I would go ahead and order it on Amazon, because it’s at a GREAT price right now, you can get free shipping, and you don’t have to worry about Target not having it. PLUS, I don’t know if you have heard of Coinstar, but it’s that little machine at some grocery stores that turns spare change into cash. Right now, Coinstar is doing this thing where you can turn your change into a gift card, and an Amazon card is one of the choices. (iTunes and Starbucks are some other choices). I did that, and I ended up getting the Season 2 DVD for $12. Pretty flippin’ sweet.

    Just for the record…

WE DO NOT KNOW WHETHER JIM TOOK THE TRANSFER OR NOT!

A lot of people think he did, but we just don’t know. His conversation with Jan on Casino Night went like this…

Jan: Have you given any more thought to the transfer?
    Jim: Yes.
Jan: Have you told anyone about it?
    Jim: No.
    Jan: Well, you should.

All we know definitely is that he’s given more thought to the transfer. We will have to wait for Season 3 to find out one way or the other.

Good call Becky. Jan’s wording is confusing. The conversation sounds like he took the transfer (or why would she ask if he told anyone?), but she definitely asked if he had “given any more thought” to it. Why ask that if he’d already accepted.

That said, my opinion is he took it.

Question. Why does Angela smile after she slaps Dwight at the casino?

Angela smiled b/c she liked the excited kiss Dwight gave her. Awww… The slap was obviously to keep anyone from thinking there was anything going on between them. Dwight liked that slap, too ^_~
