A while back, we all voted for The Office with Kristen on E!. (post link) Well, now Kristen is making buddy buddy with the cast and she has a video to prove it. Ok, actually she just visits the set and gets to talk with Jim, Pam, Michael, and Dwight.
From this video I have determined two things.
#1) Jim is still sitting at his desk…but Michael says they are just getting done with the second episode. To me, that says that the whole transfer mess gets taken care of during the Summer and possibly during the first episode. But by Episode number 2, Ol Jim is back possibly with his his new cast members. Jim also cut his hair a bit. Nice call.
#2) Five minutes with the main starso of the show is a much more entertaining time than the five minute webisodes. We still love Oscar and Kevin and Phyllis!

I think Jim is NOT still at his desk. Steve Carell was all “thanks for stopping by” and “oh, big hug” as if Jim were gone!!
This clip was so awesome! I love watching the cast b/c they’re all so funny and wonderful together. And Michael and Dwight: hilarious! I’m so jealous of Kristin. She’s so lucky to get to do the things that she does.
About the whole Jim desk thing, some other fans speculated that Jim’s desk in the clip didn’t look like his desk from season 2; it was a little less personal, not Jim-esque. Almost inferring that someone else was sitting there, but i don’t know. Everyone has such an eye for detail. Me? Not so much.
Dee’s right. Steve kind of made a reference as if Jim wasn’t there anymore. He also said “one for the road”. We’ll see once season 3 comes.
oh Im sooo excited for the new season, I watch the old episodes all the time from the itunes store. I have a countdown on my dashboard counting down to the new season, cant wait till september 21st!!!

Yeah, there’s a training manual on “jim’s” desk. why would someone who has been working there for 5 years need a training manual? And why have all his pictures disappeared? And why wasn’t pam wearning any kind of ring, no wedding OR engagement ring? oh i’m sooo excited to season 3!
Did anyone catch E! News last night? There was additional footage from Kristin Veitch’s interview and mention made of a wedding (obviously not Jim & Pam’s) and the casting of a baby? Did I miss the sarcasm or were these great tidbits on Season 3?!
