The Countdown Is On
IF you take a look at the right sidebar of this blog, you’ll see a new timer there counting down to the season opening. I have it set to Scranton Time (EST), so those in the MidWest and us in the West will have to adjust it accordingly. But either way, it will give you a good idea of how much longer we have to wait.
And what are we waiting for? LITO reader Kevin reminds us in this movie. It’s his first Office flick, so show him some love.

Oh. My. God. That was THE best you tube I have seen about the Office (except maybe the Dwight vid using Tina Turner’s “Simply The Best”) ever! Wow, Kevin, great job. I loved the effects, the emotion… you’re like a pro! Great song choice, great clips.

I’ve seen so many JAM fanvids, great and awful and in-between, that I didn’t think I could be impressed by one again. That was a nice job.

September 21st is my birthday, what better gift than the season premiere. That along with the season 2 dvd and a Dwight bobblehead and I will have the perfect birthday. (hopefully my husband will read this post)

Great job Kevin! Finally a video that doesn’t just do the standard Kissfession (not that there’s anything wrong with that) approach. Very original and nice song choice.

Thanks for all the nice comments! I love The Office (obviously), and making this video was a lot of fun. Kevin, can i toss out an Office vid idea now? Well, i think the song “New American Classic” by Taking Back Sunday is pure genius for a JAM video. It sums up Jim perfectly in the situation and i would love to see a vid done w/ that song.

Kris, thanks for the interest! I listened to New American Classic, and I agree it would be a great song for a JAM vid. However, I was planning on using something other than Jim & Pam as the focus for my next Office video. Not saying I wont ever make one for Jim & Pam again, as I’m sure season three will provide plenty of material for that?
For now I want to show off some of the other characters, so if you have any ideas for that let me know!

How about a Creed video to the song “Been Caught Stealing” by Jane’s Addiction. Just thinking about it makes me laugh my pants off!

These are some great ideas, I will, of course, have to make a Dwight video at some point - it would be a crime not to. The Creed idea is a good one, hadn’t thought of that! What do you think of an accountants video (perhaps to Pink Floyd’s “Money”?) I am working on an office vid right now that is different and definitely creative, everyone here at LITO will be the first to see it when I’m done!
It’s not hard to make great videos when working with The Office, that’s for sure!
