We Knew It All Along (Update)
And the winner for Outstanding Comedy Seriesis…The Office. Why didn’t they just ask us? We could have told them.
(Note, the beginning of the show was very very funny. Conan made a stop in The Office. As soon as it gets put on youtube, I’ll post it here. )

Is any1 else noticing the similarities between the office and seinfeld when they first started out. Not that manny poeple watched sienfeld, not many watched the office. Barely 6 episodes first season, 5 episodes for seinfelds first season. Rising popualrity in both TV shows = Emmys = HIT TV SHOWS

The Emmys just ended here and I’m still smiling! I’m so excited! When they announced it I yelled ‘Yes! They WON!” They all looked amazing up there and the opening was very funny, especially with Conan and Pam and what Conan said about the 3-4 seasons of flirting then it ends in nothing…Anyway, yay!

YAY! Congratualtions!!! I literally screamed when they said “The Office.” Considering who they were up against, I was ready to be officially upset thinking that they would go 0 for 5.
I thought it was very classy for them to give credit to Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant! Hopefully it’ll soften the hearts of those who refuse to accept that the US version of The Office is just as great as the BBC version. (Why do we need to pick a favorite?) Congrats again to the cast and crew! I LOVE THE OFFICE!!!!

The nomination and voting system caused some controversy this year…like someone (Ellen Burstyn, I think) getting a nom for a 14 second performance.
But I was SO thrilled when The Office won. My husband and I whooped in our living room. I especially found it touching that Steve Carell seemed so humbled when they thanked him. What a class act and great guy.

YEAH!!!!!! So happy for the cast and crew and our group also–we knew it all along since season #1! Glad they finally got the “official” recognition–our group here knew they had a hit a long time ago! Love to all-Mindy
