A few of you have mentioned the cracker spitting scene in the NBC Preview Post. Well the prop guy from The Office has a blog and he posted this interesting tidbit.
The cracker scene: In one take Dwight spit so many crackers in Jim’s face that John couldn’t see. We did that many times because the actors were laughing so much they kept breaking character. I cleaned up a lot of saltines and don’t have to buy any more for the rest of the season. We have a surplus.

Raise your hand if you tried this. Every time I did, I was still chewing the sixth one after 60 seconds. It sounds so easy, but it’s SOOO hard.
