    I didn’t care for Rashida Jones’ character but I really liked Andy. I loved how he freaked out about his calculator being put in jello. Too funny. But they could definately lose Rashida. I didn’t like her character, but who knows, that could change.

    So far, neither Rashida Jones’ character’s looks nor personality are attractive.

    Here is what I am predicting: Rashida Jones (I don’t know her character’s name) is, on the outside, the kind of go-getting female employee that Jan dreams the Scranton ladies would be. She starts dating Jim, then Dunder-Mifflin downsizes and some of the staff from Stamford come to Scranton, including Jim and RJ. RJ cheats on Jim with Michael in an effort to sleep her way to the top, then Michael of course thinks they’re in love, but of course they’re not, so she ends up breaking both Jim AND Michael’s hearts. Then she bursts into flames and dies. Then everyone gets popsicles.

    I don’t think Rashida really had a chance last night. She really only had one little part.

    Yes, I also like Sarah’s theory. Especially with the bursting into flames and the popsicles. I really hope Jim doesn’t date Rashida. She is just not Pam. She’s very blah. Rashida’s her real name right? Do we know what her character’s name is?

    I do agree that she didn’t really have a chance to be a great character considering she really only had two lines. I’m hoping I grow to like her. I like the idea of her and Jim dating because honestly, I would really like to see Pam get a little more jealous this season and essentially chase after Jim for once.

    I’ve heard that Rashida’s name is Karen, but I’m not 100% positive. And I do think that we’ll like her (as the anti-Pam) once she gets a chance to shine. She sure called out Jim on his Jim-face pretty quick. :)
    And good old Andy? Great stuff-Steve said that him and Michael would be friends, so I can’t wait to see what kind of stuff they pull off together.

    Yeah seriously, we haven’t even heard her name, how can people not like her? From her couple of lines and few seconds of screen time? Seems more like pro-JAM bias than educated critiquing (not that I am anti-Jam, quite the opposite, but I don’t think it is fair to bash the character).

    I love Ed Helm’s character Andy!! He’s going to fit in just perfectly. :)

    Rashida’s character, don’t know much about her but I like the idea to have her not like Jim b/c it will make me personally like her. So when that time comes, I’ll be ready for their characters to hook-it-up. hehe

    Rashida Jones was John’s date for The Emmys. Saw these photos on officetally.com. Go to Photos and then The Office Post Emmy Party
    (sorry I don’t know how to give you the exact link). Anyway, I think her character and Jim will hook-up but, only briefly because it will make Jim realize even more how much he misses Pam. I can’t bare to imagine any other outcome other than to think of Jim and Pam together!

    Jim will date the “crazy” blonde if this follows the UK Office, and Micahel trying to “be like/compete with” Jim’s new boss should be some of the highlights of this season.
