I always look forward to John’s posts on his Myspace blog. I like to know some inside things. Here is a little tidbit of knowledge:

The actor who plays Josh and I tested many designs, and spent about 20 minutes throwing paper airplanes down the hallways of hotel, until we settled on the right one. Michael’s was specially built by our propmaster at a prop house to fly back into him. Steve made one himself that flew directly into the ground which we shot the most of, but the editors went with the one in the script.

He also talks about how good Steve Carell is with the fans that they meet while filming.
