New Deleted Scene From Grief Counseling

I wanted to write about the Pam/Roy scene, and this reminded me to do it.

It’s kind of cool to see Roy a bit more humbled by Pam. It was also good to see that he was so worried about her safety in that car. The new deleted scene has them talking a little more outside.

I was in a relationship for a few years before we finally called it off. The next few months were really awkward because you’re so used to being in each other’s life and wondering about their family and all. (I’m sure many of you have been in that situation before as well.) Watching this scene brought that back to me. Strange.

Just a hunch. I don’t think we’ve seen the last of Pam and Roy.

This scene is a perfect example of why every episode of “The Office” should be super-sized. Who knew awkward silence could be so entertaining?

Bob, I was thinking that same thing. I wonder if the storylines would change at all if they had more time to present them.

I find myself wondering if the writers are releasing these deleted scenes to websites like LITO, and then weighing the responses to shape the show. The internet adds an interesting synergy to “The Office.”
