The Diwali Song From “Diwali”

LITO reader Ismat just left a comment on of the other posts pointing toward the website for Nirali Magazine. “Nirali Magazine reflects the identity and interests of South Asian women all over North America.” It seems they are pretty excited about Mindy Kaling (Kelly’s) role in the upcoming Diwali episode.

The reason I’m posting this is because they have a post that contains great little song that Michael Scott will be singing on the episode. It’s a remake of Adam Sandler’s famous “Hanukkah song”, but Diwali-ized.

Post: Hai, Hai, Hai and a Bottle of Lassi

Song: The Diwali Song

Thanks for the cool tip Ismat!

That made me laugh so much that my dog woke up and just stared at me like ‘What is she doing?’ then fell back to sleep.

I wonder if Michael’s actually playing the guitar or if Dwight is. ‘Cause I remember in “take your daughter to work day”, Jim mentions that Michael can’t play the guitar.

Steve Carell is such a good singer btw. A lot of comedians are when I think about it…
