Well, they were a little later than promised, but NBC did put up the Producer’s Cut of last night’s episode. It has a lot of fun parts that were deleted. Right now it is on the Official Office Home Page or you can find the stand alone player here.
Branch Closing Producer’s Cut
Friday, November 10, 2006
was reading thru the online chat with Greg Daniels from last night and noticed that the writer of “Branch Closing” was Michael Schur, aka Mose Schrute.
Very cool…
Is anyone having problems with the producer’s cut video? Mine just says Video Loading, and won’t do anything.
Why is the video so blurry and fuzzy compared to the deleted scenes?
it loaded fine for me… subplots with Creed and Meredith were awesome.
What was the deal with Creed taking Stanley’s picture?
iTunes finally has the episode up and it shows as 30:22 long. I think I am correct in assuming this is the Producer’s Cut?
The producer’s cut isn’t available to Canadians but the commercials are. Gee thanks, NBC!
Says the Video is not available for my location… anyone from Canada able to watch it? or is it a US thing only?
Question: about Grag Daniels’ live blog…who are the two delivery guys they are talking about here, and were they in a scene I have forgotten? I don’t remember seeing them.
(From Live Blog)
“Their names on the show are Leo and Gino. Gene plays Leo and Lee plays Gino. Why can’t you guys figure this out on your own?”
“I can’t tell you anything more about the two delivery jerks. I will tell you this: one of them ends up with Pam.
This may be true if they take over the show in season ten.”
I’m in Canada and can’t watch the video stream from here. Nor can I can buy the episode from iTunes… is there any way someone can help?
Janie, in the deleted scenes there are two delivery guys that work for Bob Vance. They come in to deliver something for Phyllis and end up hitting on Pam.
They are also the ones that put the joint in the parking lot.
@tyler
Creed was taking a picture of the items on stanley’s desk, not Stanley himself. He was posting pics on line in an effort to sell anything in the branch not tied down.
I noticed in the Producer’s Cut, they took out the part where Jim says he always figured Scranton would closedown because Michael sold it for some magic beans. I thought that line was classic and a shame they didn’t leave it in.
Thanks for explaining that Roger, I didn’t get it either. When he went back to his computer, they should have had ebay on the screen.
Yay! Thanks for clarifying Brian. I hate to feel out ofthe loop
