Steve and Rainn Have Movies Too

Tuesday, November 21, 2006

A couple days ago, I mentioned a movie that John Krasinski would be in soon. Now, a couple LITO readers (justin, A.M.) have sent in two more movies that our Office folk will be involved in.

Rainn Wilson (Dwight) will write and start in a movie about a great ninja who now lives as a regular person. (more here)

Steve Carell (Michael) will play Secret Agent Michael Scarn Maxwell Smart in a new movie version of “Get Smart.” (more here.)

On a side note, I always hesitate on making posts like these ones. I like to try to keep the site as Office related as possible. But, I’ll continue posting about outside movies and activites of the cast if you’d like. This sounds like a good poll time.

Indirectly related to the Office is still related to the Office to me. The more the merrier!

Yes, bring it on. After all we love The Office for the actors and the chararacters they portray. It’s fun to watch them in other things.

Also, FYI I saw “Happy Feet” the other night (hilarious by the way), and there was a preview for “Evan Almighty.” It’s a spin off from “Bruce Almighty” with Steve Carrell as the same news anchor Evan, and Morgan Freeman is still God. This time Evan (Steve) is chosen by God…to build an ark. Should be interesting.

I love hearing about what everyone is doing. I was extremely excited when I was watching CSI and I saw Rainn in it. I wish I had known about that sooner.

Also, I’m not sure if this was mentioned, but Angela and Brian were also on Loveline a few days before Jenna

    Thanks for the shoutout!
I loved the Get Smart TV show (reruns), and that + Steve Carell’s genius will = a really good movie (I’m not so sure abut Evan Almighty, though).

Oh my, that ninja movie sounds hilarious. The one I’m most excited for is License to Wed, though.

You know Post-it Thief, your name JUST clicked with me. I guess I’ve just been X’d, punk!

    (He was in on it!)

Nice, Adam! You know, I make a pretty good profit from them, at 50 cents a piece.

Looking at the results, I guess the people have spoken!
