Well, I’ve made no secret that I’m a fan of Karen in the show. I think she brings some fresh personality and would be good for Jim. (At least for the next little while.)
A couple days ago on LJ, one of the members found Rashida Jones on the list of the “50 Most Beautiful People” in 2002. (pictured above) Now it just makes sense that she should be with Jim, one of People’s Sexiest Men Alive.
That article also points out that she was in the music video for “Be Gentle With Me.” That’s a cool song, with a cool video, and she did a good job. I’m sure there are other musical projects that she’s been involved in considering her dad is Quincy Jones. (Yes, that Quincy Jones)

I’m happy for Rashida. It looks like this may be huge step forward in her acting career. Freaks & Geeks was pretty popular, but I think the Office will really put her name out there. And maybe keep her away from doing more… unflattering skits on Chapelle’s Show.
I’m on Team Jamin. I want Jim to explore his options with Karen, maybe have a short lived, but happy relationship, but ultimately go back Pam.

I don’t want to like karen.. but I kinda sorta do. I agree with adam’s second paragraph.
I also like her. I can’t see the video, but I read on IMDB that she also sang back up vocals for Maroon 5 on their cd “Songs About Jane.” Apparently she’s multi-talented. What I like most is that she’s a Harvard Grad like BJ. I think that’s so awesome.

I read somewhere (here?) that Rashida and John dated in real life for a breif period. He was the one that fought for her to get the role on the Office.
I like Rashida but I don’t like Karen that much.

I also read somewhere (here?) that the name Jim Halpert comes from one of the writers good friends, John Halpert (something like that). And that his wife’s name IRL is Karen. DUN DUN DUNNNNNNN.
It’s funny that they made her Italian on the show. I kept screaming “She doesn’t look Italian!” on my T.V. everytime they said she was on the show. I know it’s just acting but she just doesn’t look Italian to me.
