The always awesome LJ group has posted an great poll question. So great in fact that I am going to run it here as well and see if we come up with the same results as they get. (Also, I want to make it possible for you guys to add more people to the poll because I love the creativity of the LITO crowd.
At the end of the Christmas episode, Michael called someone and asked them to accompany him to an all inclusive trip to Jamaica. That “someone” accepted.

Kristin at E! did say that the Christmas episode would be the start of “Man.” (Michael + Jan) Of course, they are known to be misleading, so catch-22. But Cousin Mose would make for some extra fun for the “incriminating photos” promised next episode!
Of course it was Jan…with Packer he would have said something like, Pack-man, yo, let’s go to Jamaica and check out all the fine ladies…something to that effect.

totally Jan. It was the same look he had when he asked her to Casino Night and then when she called back and accepted. Very surprised….yay!!!
I thought it was Mama Scott for sure until I saw the blurb about the “Back from Vacation” episode. It must be Jan.
But I guess I shouldn’t put it past Michael to come back with “racy photos” after a vacation with his mom. YIKES.
I think it was Evan, the HammerMill salesman. They definately had a bond at the convention.

Nov. 20: Watch With Kristin
From Heather: Thursday’s episode of The Office had me at first dancing around the living room, then at the end I wanted to throw my TV out of the window. Please, tell me there is hope for Jim and Pam!
I am right there with you, babycakes. And while I have nothing giddily delicious to report on the Jam front … I do have major news in the Office romance department! Carol dumps Michael in the next couple weeks, which leaves him heartbroken at first, until he realizes he can rebound with, who else?! Jan! To my surprise, I’m hearing Ms. Levinson is totally into it, and even goes on a romantic getaway with Michael over the Christmas holidays. “Man” (Michael/Jan) is on!
It’s Jan. They will return as Mr. & Mrs. Scott.

I forgot about Packer until I read this thread. Then I thought, hey maybe it was Packer, but I think the dialogue of the phone call points more towards Jan.
Maybe a totally new cast member?

It just doesn’t make any sense to me why Jan would go on a vacation to Jamaica with Michael.
