A Benihana Christams Deleted Scene 2

NBC has released the second deleted scene from A Benihana Christmas. I really only have one comment about it.

I see why it was deleted.

AW. Poor Ryan. He looked so cute and in earnest.

He needs to figure out where his head is at, tho.

I think the only way for the writers to get themselves out of the Kelly/Ryan situation is for her to dump him for someone else. Otherwise, they have to either drag out the relationship (which is already getting a little stale) or write the rest of the show with Kelly pouting in the background, and neither of those options seem plot-progressive. If Kelly dumps Ryan instead, they get a whole new dynamic to explore.

Eh, yeah. Kelly and her thing with Ryan can be very cute and funny, but it’s the juxtaposition of their extreme opposite feelings about the relationship that makes it work. A “long” scene like that did’t flow as well. It probably would’ve been more amusing if it had been two talking heads about the protocol of giving/receiving gifts.

Claire, I couldn’t agree with you more. Perhaps Kelly could fall for one of the Vance Refrigeration guys and try to make Ryan jealous.

Speaking of Bob Vance, where was he for the Christmas episode. Phyllis could have used his support.

And where was Packer? What’s a Christmas episode without Packer saying “What’s up mah nerds!?”

I think I threw up a little bit in my mouth when I saw that.
