Just so everyone is on the same page, there is no new episode this week. In fact, NBC says this week is “an encore presentation of a very special one hour Christmas episode!” So, it’s a rerun, but it will be a fun one to see again.
The next new episode won’t air until January 4th, 2007. It is called “Back From Vacation”:
Michael returns from his Jamaican vacation a relaxed and revitalized man, but that quickly changes when a spicy vacation photograph makes its way around the office. Meanwhile, Jim and Karen have an argument — with Pam caught in the middle of it all.
Let’s bust out the countdown timer again so we know just how long until we have to wait. (See top of the sidebar.)
Seventeen days?!? Why not just shoot me in the face. That would have the save effect on me.
Anyway, “Back From Vacation” sounds awesome. I can’t wait to see the photograph. Michael + Jan in bed? Michael + Packer in an awkward pose?
And the JAM scene sounds great. I’m going to guess that Karen (who is officially, yet secretly, seeing Jim gets jealous of Jim flirting/talking with Pam. And Karen, being as up-front as she is, will flat out ask Pam or Jim if they have a thing for each other, in front of each other. [you heard it here first])

“back from Vacation”.. maybe no longer “too early” for Oscar??? I could (and have) rewatch that Christmas episode MANY times!
