Meevee Interviews Melora Hardin

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

First it was an interview with Ed Helms and now Meevee has posted an interview with Melora Hardin. They ask her about Michael and Jan:

What’s next for them?
Well, they’re officially dating. I think it’s going to be a rocky road. It’s going to be a little more of them being out of step with each other, and how they deal with that now that they’re in an intimate relationship, and actually making that public, saying, “We’re an item.”

It looks like MeeVee will have a different character all this week. I hope they take that opportunity to ask some good, solid questions. (LITO would love the chance!!)

PS, What’s the official term for these two? Man? Jachael?

The Winner Of The Forum Contest Is…

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

Well, it’s been one month, 539 users, and 10,056 posts since we started the LITO Forums. And since it is the last day of the month, I asked my wife to pick a random number between 1 and 10,000. She chose a number, I looked up the comment comment and the winner is…Adam. (pictured)

ImageFor those of you who use the forums often, I’m sure you recognize the name. Since day one, Adam has been active and very helpful to everyone on the boards. He’s added nearly 700 posts. (I hope his boss doesn’t visit the forum.) When I saw how much he was putting into it I asked him if he’d like to be a “Assistant TO THE Site Admin.” He said that he would as long as it didn’t disqualify him from the iPod contest and I assured him it wouldn’t. Well good thing he asked because I just sent him a brand new iPod fully loaded with Office videos, images and sound clips.

Congratulations to Adam (and his fiancé who will no doubt enjoy it too.)

Thanks to everyone for playing along. And be sure to visit the site tomorrow because I will be announcing the February contest.

The Office Drama…Again

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

A few weeks ago I posted a video that portrayed The Office As If It Was A Drama. Well, if you enjoyed that one, you might really enjoy this one. This one is complete with betrayal, suspense, and even a hero.

Kevin Keeps Blogging

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

Although we lost John, Kevin continues to blog. He posted another one today and as usual, he gives us a little of everything.

Regarding the SAG awards:

I met some of Hollywood’s hottest, and tried to keep up, but then work was calling the next morning, so I turned into a pumpkin. Image
Can you believe Dunder Mifflin did not give us the next day off? We are doing more advertising for our little paper company than they could ever afford. Seems like they should have let us enjoy a little more cheer. To the girls out there who are wondering, Leo has got nothing on me. McDreamy is looking a little old. Ashton needs some more meat on his bones. And the boys from Entourage are all gay. (Heeheeheehee) To the guys who are wondering…all of the starlets are exactly as hot as you think they are.

And there is more where that came from.

John The Prop Guy Steps Down

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

This is a sad, sad day for me. John The Prop Guy has decided to step away from The Office to return to his previous work. He said that it was hard for him, but the money was about double and it gives him more time with his family.

As of the first of the year, I quit my job at, “The Office,” to return to my previous position set decorating for commercials. When I took the job on the show, I was going through a drastic change in my contacts in commercials, and had to move on to television in order to keep my finances steady. This required starting at the bottom of the TV prop world for about a year. I quickly worked my way through a number of canceled series and gained a great reputation around town up to the point where I was offered an assistant job on, “The Office”, so I took it. During the break, I went back into commercials and found I could re-enter that world back at my previous status and pay rate (which is roughly double) so I had to leave the show based on the fact that the money was better

Oh man, I am going to miss those blogs. I feel like we should have a funeral in a parking lot somewhere.

The Office Audio Clips: The Return

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

I wasn’t going to do the audio clips from this last episode because the last few additons to The Office Audio Clips didn’t seem so anticipated. I figured I’d take a break. But, I’ve received 64 emails in the last few days asking for them. Who would have thought.

So here are my favorite audio clips from “The Return”

Ed Helms With MeeVee

Wednesday, January 31st, 2007

I use MeeVee.com to keep track of the shows I’d like to watch and when they are on. So, when I visited today I was glad to see that they recently did an interview with Ed Helms, who plays Andy.
Image

How have The Office fans been treating you?
What, you mean since Andy turned evil?

What do you mean turned evil?
He’s always been kind of a douchebag, but a likable douchebag. I’ve just gotten such a warm response from so many people, across the board.

You know, he’s right when he says that. Andy was always funny and quirky to me. But, his character has now taken an obvious and drastic turn in the last couple episodes. Now I’m just afraid of what he’ll do next.

Preview Clips For “Ben Franklin” (Updated)

Tuesday, January 30th, 2007

Well, we’re getting close to the next episode and that means two things.

Number one, we’ll get some preview clips from Yahoo.com. And Number two, most of us will have a problem playing them.

Image

Well, it seems that the pattern holds true this week. But when you get them to play, you’ll enjoy them. They’re funny.

Update: TV.com has thhe three Yahoo quotes plus an additional one with Todd Packer. Plus, they all worked for me first try.

The Office And Quotabilitatively

Tuesday, January 30th, 2007

I have been prepping all of The Office episodes for the iPod contest in the forums. As I’ve been watching all the old episodes, I’ve noticed that I still quote the early episodes much more often than I do any of the recent episodes. I’m not sure why this is but I have a couple ideas.

1) Michael is so much different now than he was suring the first season and a half. At first, when the show was more in line with the British version, he was just insensitive and a little rude. Now, he is mostly Image portrayed as ignorant. I think this has kind of taken away from his one line zingers.

2) The Office is much more about relationships and oddities now. In the beginning it really was about every day life in an office. I think this is actually a natural transition since this is supposed to be a documentary. Every documentary or reality television show starts off in a more observant view point. Then, by the end of the season it is all about who slept/lied/cheated/punched/loved/dated/ with who.

This isn’t a knock on The Office. You know I love the show. I just think that the writing and stories are different. There aren’t as many quotable quotes that work their way into my vocabulary. I use mostly just quotes from early episodes that we talked about before.

Am I alone in this?

NBC Offers Desktop Images and Buddy Icons

Monday, January 29th, 2007
Image

I may be late with this one, but NBC is offering a few desktop images and icons for download. They are basically the promotional images that we have all seen so many times before, but at least they’re trying. They get paid the big bucks for TV Shows, not desktops.
