Tuesday, January 2, 2007

Once again, the LJ community has found a great Office gem. It as an interview with Rashida Jones that hits on all kinds of personal subjects. The main focus is how it is to grow up biracial, since she is the daughter of Quincy Jones and the beautiful Peggy Lipton.

The interview is full of great stories. (Growing up with Quincy Jones, you know she has experienced a ton of interesting things.) Also, there are pictures of Rashida at all ages. (She was sure a cute little girl.)

The interview is in six scanned parts. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

And in case these files disappear from the web (or you prefer to read it offline), you can get all six parts in the zip file here.

    MichaelG,

It works, it just takes a while. I think it’s been that way ever since it was posted for LJ. That was part of the reason I made the zip file.

  4. RKM says:

I don’t care if she’s white, black, or some kind of halfsy — she’s hot.

  5. Mrs. Halpert says:

She is gorgeous! I just wish Jim found her absolutely repulsive!

  6. Ginny says:

That was a really great article. I’m biracial myself and what she and her sister said were so true.

  7. Janie says:

she is exotic. I wonder if her father was a GI.

No really, they are both beautiful. She does look like her mom! I love that she is so smart.
