This Show Is Going Places

In the article, Kevin Williamson makes some predictions on who will be the big faces in 2007:

JENNA FISCHER: As the pretty but plain receptionist from TV’s sharpest sitcom, NBC’s The Office, Fischer exhibits all the qualities of the classically attractive girl next door. What makes her exceptional is her tart wit, reminding us you can’t have the sweet — and sexy — without the sour. Despite The Office continuing to inexplicably struggle in the ratings, Fischer — who told one interviewer she was deemed not hot enough to star in Alias, losing the role to Jennifer Garner — shouldn’t sweat it. The year ahead will see her appear on the big screen, most notably in Blades of Glory opposite Will Ferrell and Napoleon Dynamite’s Jon Heder.

I couldn’t agree with this more. I think The Office is pretty popular now, but 2007 will make it even bigger. That will include the stars of the show getting more popular.
