I received an email and picture from LITO reader Kelly:
I saw this Dunder Mifflin Paper Company truck infront of “Le Sex Shoppe” on Van Nuys Blvd this morning. I was stuck in traffic and it appears that they were filming in aforementioned boutique. Should make for an interesting episode! Sorry for the bad picture, but you get the gist.
From the truck we can see that Dunder Mifflin started in 1947. I don’t think we knew that before now.
The next thing we need to figure out is why the truck was at the shop. My guess is that Michael sends the company truck there to get something for Phyllis’s upcoming wedding.
What do you think?
Gift. For. Jan.
Sure… Stuck in traffic
yeah…definitely his and Jan’s next condo quicky.
If it was really in Scranton they would be stopping up the Eynon way …along route 6 at the “Playtime Boutique”
Where is our scranton insider section when we need it?
Dan…good call.
Did you ever notice how huge the “Playtime Boutique” warehouse is? I went inside the actual store part to buy a bridal shower gift, and it’s really tiny and scary inside. What is all the extra space for? Why were there so many cars parked in the back?
Dang! When was this? I drive by there every night on my way home from work AND I carry a camera in my car for just such an occasion!!
Carla, it was about 7:30 in the morning, traffic was horrific, I was sitting there right next to the truck, staring at it even for like 5 minutes until “Dunder Mifflin” sunk in (not enough coffee you see). Then I was all “Dunder Mifflin! That’s a Dunder Mifflin Truck!” a quick scramble for my camera and I just made it before I moved forward another 5 feet.
