Professor Scott On The Way
Not only do we have talented readers in the LITO forum, we also have famous ones.
*********SPOILERS IN THIS POST***************
ONe of our very own got to be an extra on The Office. This is what he had to say in the forums:
Wow… Where do I begin? How about the beginning? My friend/roomate Nick and I stopped at a Shell station to buy gloves for a “Chilly February morn in Scranton”… in Los Angeles. We followed the yellow “The Office” signs to a parking lot. “You guys workin’ on The Office?”
Yes… Yes we are.
At breakfast (I opted for a hearty omlette) we overheard a stuntman talking about the scene. This was it… Who will it be? Andy? Ryan? Dwight? Then he dropped the bomb.Ryan brings Michael to his business school to speak to his class for extra credit. I don’t want to give too much away. It’s a funny, funny scene! In quick summation, Ryan and Michael walk down a pathway as Michael reminesces about what college would have been like if he had gone. He then jumps into a group of guy’s frisbee circle. Steals their “Frizz-bone” and throws it a mile away. Then into the lecture hall where Michael answers some Hard-hitting questions about the dying paper business. I really don’t want to get into too much detail yet because It would be a shame to ruin the episode by telling you every joke that we recorded… I also learned quite a bit about the other events of the episode. E.g. Poby and a possible “infestation” of The Office. I know that if I posted every dirty little detail you skeevy little pervs would eat it up and spoil your appetites for the new episodes. I’ll post more later if you guys want.
He said he’d post a picture a little later so be sure and keep an eye on the thread.

Poby? Like Pam and Toby?

He later confirmed that it was nothing more than another awkward moment between them. Is that a collective sigh of relief I hear from LITOites everywhere?

I could swear I remember Michael saying he “lived on Ramen noodles in college” when he was sitting around the lunch table with Pam, Jim, et al in an episode last year (or maybe the year before). Am I wrong?

Yes, but in The Fire, Dwight lets the little nugget slip that Michael never went to college… he went to the “school of hard knocks” or something of the sort.
