A Blog From Kevin
Sometimes the blog is written as Kevin and other times it is written as Brian Bumgaurtner. Either way, he’s added a new post.
So last week, as promised, Scrantonicity made their live primetime network debut. Live as in, not a video. How did we sound? I thought the guitarist was a little behind in the beat, but other than that, I was proud of us. It was only our 3rd gig, and we will only continue to get better. The people at the wedding seemed to have a good time, and the priest guy made us turn the amp down at midnight, so we must have been owning.
We are looking for more gigs in the Scranton/ Wilks-Barre area. But hell, for the right price we could travel anywhere. Send us your offers.
And last night, as some of you know, those who watched the Grammys, the Police was back. Were back. Sting opened the entire Grammy celebration with ROXANNE. And Scrantonicity opened OUR set with ROXANNE.
I love Sting. He is a personal hero. Even the lute stuff. But while his voice might have been a tad sharper than mine (he wrote the songs in his range after all), I feel the rocking factor of our version really stood up.
And I drummed. He merely plucked a bit.

Haha, thanks for posting that, Brian. I’m at work and can’t access Myspace so I was wondering what it was about.
