Too bad Dwight booted Uncle Al — with his evolution to a new part of his brain, Al is the one character that would have truly understood Dwight.
Don’t you think the camera crew of this “documentary” should have stopped him from walking into the street and almost getting hit?
And can be found carrying a buttered dinner roll in his pocket.
My heart melted for Uncle Al. Having had a relative with dementia, I can relate to the family’s worry. And… I also wanted to strangle the “documentary crew” for not stopping him from trying to walk into traffic.
Well nobody ever helped him, he had to do it all himself. Not even the doctor knew.
I know we’re not supposed to talk about the actors, but isn’t this the guy from the new introduction to the Big Lebowski? The guy from Forever Young films?

I thought the way Uncle Al wandered into the street was actually comedic genius. He raised his hand right when the light turned red in the direction he was facing, before walking the other way into traffic. i pictured him having a dementia moment perfectly when he rose his hand as if he was having an imaginary conversation. the way hos mouth was half open while he stood there added to the comedic effect. I laughed for at least 10 minutes at that part.
