Jenna Is Busy

Thursday, March 15th, 2007

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Jenna on her blog. But she posted today letting us know what she’s been up to and what to expect tonight:

Shooting the show has been amazing lately. I wish I could tell you all of the great episodes we have in store. Harold Ramis came back and directed our 50th episode. Can you believe it!? We’ve made 50 episodes! Tonight they are airing a “Newpeat”. Basically, it is a repeat but with some added scenes. For example, I think you find out what happened to Andy after he punched the wall. And there is an extra JAM bit as well.

Dwight Needs Our Help

Thursday, March 15th, 2007

A few weeks back we put the LITO army on a contest to help Jenna win. We didn’t quite make it, but we made a huge difference and we were real close.

Well now, Dwight needs our help and this one looks reachable. We posted about this contest once before, but now Dwight has made it to the Elite Eight and he is losing to House. (I like House, but I like Dwight better.)

I received this tip from LITO reader Lee:

After winning two rounds, Dwight is now losing 755-76 to House, MD…People can vote more than once if they close the browser and the reopen. Thats what the people on the House boards are doing.

This sounds like a worthy cause. You can apply the LITO touch here.

Happy Birth Moment Michael

Thursday, March 15th, 2007

LITO reader Toni wrote in with a good tip. In the episode called “Michael’s Birthday, Michael proclaims, “Oh, fun fact. I share my birthday with Eva Longoria. So I have a perfect icebreaker if I ever meet Teri Hatcher.”

Well a little googling tells us that Eva’s birthday is March 15th…so happy birthday Michael. In celebration, here are the deleted scenes from the birthday episode.

Guitarist Doing Double Duty

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

I just got an email from a very observant LITO reader named Tyler:

I dont know if this has been covered or not…but, i noticed that the guitarist for kevins band is the same guitarist on the booze cruz. Im not sure about that rest of the band though.

I think he’s right. Here are the pictures from the Booze Cruise and from the wedding. If it’s not the same guy than they have the exact same hair and they are both left handed guitarists. (I think it’s the same guy.)

Ol’ Kevin was probably doing some recruiting while they were on the cruise.

Jenna On The Road

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

This morning I received this email from LITO reader Jessica:

Hi there. Thanks so much for keeping us updated on all the good Office info! I wanted to let you know that I was flipping through Reader’s Digest yesterday and found a short article that Jenna Fischer wrote about her move from Missouri to L.A. I can’t find the article on the internet yet, but you should check it out; it’s a cute article!

I was going to wait to post about it until I could find a copy to scan for you, but luckily the great tanster at OfficeTally.com has found a copy for us. You can check it out here.

The Oval Office in DC

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

As most of you know, I just returned from a trip to the East Coast. Ironically, I was sent this video from LITO reader Preston while I was in Washington, DC. It is called “The Oval Office.” You’ll understand when you watch it.

I thought it was funny, and it was fun to try and pinpoint the scenes used from the real show. As usual, I ask that you keep your comments tasteful and kind to other readers.

That will be great. And as usual, check here on Tuesday morning to see if we can find it on Youtube somewhere.

Update: Also from Casey

Ending The Drought Of Office

Tuesday, March 13th, 2007

NBC released a press release that holds good news for us Office fans.

On April 5, NBC’s super-sized lineup will include (times approximate): “The Office” (8-8:40 p.m. ET); “30 Rock” (8:40-9:15 p.m. ET); “Scrubs” (9:15-9:50 p.m. ET); “Andy Barker, P.I.” (9:50-10:20); and an encore episode of “My Name Is Earl” (10:20-11 p.m. ET).

So after being on an Office fast for a month, we’ll get an extra serving on April 5th. They made no mention of what the show was about, but hopefully our previously posted description isn’t too far off.

Is it April 5th yet?

It’s Good Being Bob Vance

Monday, March 12th, 2007

LITO has been a big fan of Bob Vance, Vance Refrigeration ever since he did an interview with us. So, we like to see him have success. His recent blog post mentions that he likes it too:

I’m at the pool yesterday when a shapely adorable introduces me to her friend from Texas who tells me that I “look like Jack Nicholson — in a good way.” She then text messages her friend in Dallas who is “crazy about the show,” and tells her that she is laying next to Bob Vance. She leaves out the part about the pool and then the phone rings immediately and she must explain.

“Hey! You tell her BOB VANCE JUST ROCKED-YOUR-WORLD!” As I now have a legend to maintain.

The whole post is a fun read.

Reports From The Parade

Monday, March 12th, 2007

First, my confession. We made it all the way out here to Philadeplphia on Friday night, but with the three hour tme difference, a 2 year old and a pregnant wife, we just didn’t have the energy to make the 3 hour drive up to Scranton for the parade. So in short, we didn’t make it.

But, the awesome John Webster left this comment a few posts back:

Hi, John Webster from Rock107 in Scranton here (Dwight’s favorite radio station despite the Froggy sticker…”Hello, Rock107, am I the 107th caller?” when he was trying to win the Jethro Tull boxset, and let’s not forget it was a Rock107 t-shirt he wore in the Lazy Scranton video.)

Another St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the history books here in the Electric City.

The Rock107 contingent was in the parade as always. We took a bunch of pictures. Now remember, since we were IN the parade, we didn’t see ANY of the parade except for the division we were in and what was still on television in the bars hours after we were done.

That said, there are pictures of the Rock107 gang behind the Scranton Times building before the parade, in the staging area on Mulberry Street, and then of the actual parade route from our perspective.

So if you’re not a northeast PA resident, you probably won’t know the people in the pictures but you can get a nice peek at what the crowds are like at teh 4th largest St. Patrick’s Day Parade in the country, and a glimpse or two of downtown Scranton (when it’s not obscured by the crowds that is.)

You can see a slideshow at www.webster107.blogspot.com or www.myspace.com/webster107

You might also check out www.scrantontimes.com for the newspaper’s coverage.

Hope you check ‘em all out and enjoy!

Awesome.

And other LITO-ites make the mecca to Scranton for the parade?
