That clip shouldn’t have been deleted. The first part was hilarious, and the second part explained a lot. Also, the Scranton Times “reporter” deserved airtime… he was perfect!
I was at the “The Office” promotion at the Mall at Steamtown in Scranton last Thursday and we watched the episode inside the Ground Round. I sat at the bar with several employees of “The Scranton Times” (actually the “Times-Tribune”) and “Electric City”, a weekly entertainment/arts paper and both Times/Shamrock Communications publications. It was a little noisy at the bar and we couldn’t hear every word on the show so when the reporter walked in it seems he was perfectly cast as two of the newspaper employees I was seated near both said, not knowing that he was actually playing a Times reporter, “Does that guy work for us?” and everyone laughed. Well, we laughed again when we found out that he does!
