“Beach Games” Previews, Spoilers, & the New York Post!

A preview article for this week’s episode, “Beach Games”, was in yesterday’s New York Post. I like the Post, so I was excited to see the article, and besides speculating about the last two episodes of the season, it included praise for The Office’s style and talent.
It’s no secret in Hollywood that the show’s cast is becoming the most sought-after talent pool in town. The show willingly organized its shooting schedule this year to accommodate Carell’s shooting of the remake of “Get Smart” in March. Krasinski is currently shooting “Leatherheads” with George Clooney and Renee Zellweger in South Carolina. Fischer is working on several movies this summer after appearing in Will Farrell’s “Blades of Glory” this spring.
“I think the show is very filmic,” says Daniels. “It’s single comedy, has no laugh track and it’s shot like a film comedy.”

I’m so excited about this that I’m not even gonna complain that the office outing takes place at Lake Scranton, which is a reservoir that has NO beach and NO fun and games are allowed! (Oops, that statement sure SOUNDS like a complaint… let me redact it!)
