Premiere Night

Today is a big day with Season Four of “The Office” about to kick off. As many of you know, LITO has teamed up with GossipGirls.com to provide you with some of the best Office news on the internet.

To introduce me, my name is Jake, and I have been a long time follower of LITO, and am happy to be blogging here now. In the future, we are going continue the strong traditions with profiles and episode recaps.

So, what are your predictions for the Office? How do you think the summer went for Jim and Pam? What about Ryan’s new job? Dwight and Andy drama?

Sound off in the comments.

I just can’t believe the rumors that they’re going to kill Angela off this season. What’s up with that?!?

Yeah, definitely DON’T go to gossipgirls.net.

    Hopefully that’s a typo?

I’m pretty stoked for season four tonight. Dwight and Andy will have some classic battles. Ryan will be a punk. Jim and Pam will get together, break up, have awkward moments, then get back together.

I don’t think that anything happened with Jim and Pam over the summer. I think that he just asked here out to make sure that they arestill friends. I don’t think that Jim would want to get into a relationship right after breaking up with Karen. Well we’ll see! :)

Welcome aboard, Jake. I’m a long-time follower of LITO, too. I’m looking forward to new profiles, and episode recaps, and bigger and better things… maybe even a cast member interview! (You may have been under-estimated before, but this time I will ESTIMATE YOU.)

Bob, I would love to do an interview ith some of the cast. That would be awesome! Who would you interview if you had the chance?

    Oh My Gosh… Let’s ’see…

JIM & PAM - They will begin their new FINALLY romance, BUT!!! Karen (I think) is coming back, although Jim thought she was gone - why he finally got courage to ask Pam out). Karen will maybe create fireworks.

RYAN - The TEMP (one of the main VERY TALENTED writers) - finally gets his come-uppance, dumped (can’t remember her name) girl from India. He will wreak his vengance somehow.

MICHAEL & JAN - She goes from high executive to demented, unemployed, live-in girlfriend. That is hilarious. Michael continues on.

I think that is enough. Between just those three subplots, there is plenty of human fodder. Very excited awaiting the season opener.

Jake, an interview with anyone connected to the show would be good. Actors, writers, directors, gaffers, it’s all good!

If I had the chance, I’d interview “Meredith”… I’ve always found her to be intoxicating.

@Bob, Intoxicating, lol. Seriously. One of the things that I think is really cool is how a bunch of the people in the show had never acted before, but came onto the show first as producers, then actors. Or, in Phillys’ case as a casting director.

lol, reading the Bob/Jake conversation. I am still, no matter what, a hopeless John Krasinski and JAM fangirl. I can’t wait to see the Jim & Pam stuff tonight!!

(listening to Dunder and Dwightning by sweet diss and the comebacks right now :] office mood!)

Jim and Pam didn’t get to spend as much time together as they wanted. Maybe Jim or Pam was called out of town to deal with a family matter, or maybe one of them was injured (not to make light of Jenna’s broken back). Maybe Ryan sent Jim to China/Burma/Bangladesh to scout out new suppliers and got stuck out there (lost passport? scary flu?).

Ryan is inwardly insecure and will compensate for it by becoming a heavy-handed manager who won’t tolerate anyone questioning his decisions or actions. Not that I’ve known any managers like that.

I’d like to see Andy continue to be Dwight’s second in command for a while longer. Dwight’s plans are often so complex and convoluted that he needs some help!

Oh yeah, Kelly will try to keep it together but will be a total mess anytime Ryan shows up in Scranton.

…Or maybe Kelly will quickly find a rebound guy (or guys) and Ryan will show moments of regret.
