Sunday morning, my cousin and I headed out to the next event, the Blogger’s Breakfast. We were psyched because it was held right downstairs in our hotel. This way we could sleep in after a late night at the look-a-like contest & Scrantones concert. Yea!
I didn’t know exactly what the Blogger’s Breakfast would entail. As it turned out it included; Brian Baumgartner (Kevin), Bobby Ray Shafer (Bob Vance), Kate Flannery (Meredith) and Andy Buckley (David Wallace), convention organizers, Office fan-site bloggers and… me?!  That’s right, I actually got to answer a question, which was totally unexpected. You longtime LITO readers know that I just got this gig, so the whole thing was very surreal, but fun.

Here is a preview for tomorrow night’s episode, “Branch Wars”. It is from a local news station in Utica, NY. This weeks episode centers around the Utica branch of Dunder Mifflin.
Those of us at the convention got to see about 5 minutes of “Branch Wars” as a little treat for attending the Writer’s Block. However, do to a possessed camera, I have no footage of that. :( But enjoy this clip which gives you at least a little sneak peak. Warning: spoilers!

I just wanted to share my Office moment of the day with everyone out there in internet land!

I recently started working in the office of a restaurant in a sort of catch-all position–part PA, part party planner, part webmaster, part complaints-hotline. Today when I came in to open the restaurant, one of our distributors was waiting to drop off a shipment of wine, and he asked me if I was the new manager. I said “No, I’m more the assistant to.”

He replied, “Oh, so you’re their Dwight?” Made my day.

What’s that you say? You don’t care about my personal life? Fine, watch this nifty little Heroes/Office crossover video, courtesy of andemarg. NBC solidarity!

Discuss your own daily Office moments over in our forum!

One hour after the cast Q&A was the character look-alike contest, and the Scrantones, at Lackawanna College. It’s been run, run, run all day long! Whew! All the events are in different places around Scranton. I’m sure the convention planners did this to showcase as much of their beautiful town as they could. But with the events scheduled so close together, we found ourselves late to just about everything! So much Office, so little time…:)

I don’t even know what to think of this. Read article here.

What do you guys think??

On Saturday, at the University of Scranton, we were treated to a two hour Q&A session with the cast, writers and producers. Four thousand people showed up, and the crowd was psyched to be there!

The press conference with the cast was the first big event I attended at the convention (having arrived on Saturday at noon). For me, it set the tone for the rest of the weekend. The cast really seemed to be enjoying themselves in Scranton. They seemed relaxed and had a blast joking around with each other and the members of the press.

My cousin and I had three cameras between us. Right off the bat, they all became possesed, batteries kept dying, memory cards filled up when they shouldn’t have, pictures were blurry. In short, it was a disaster! Below I included a few short videos from the event. I know the quality is sub-par, but please don’t throw garbage at me! The next event I was able to get better quality videos, which I will be uploading soon.

Click this link below to view a few short videos of some of the questions asked at the conference.

Ok, so it’s now 1am Scranton time. I am just getting down to posting! What a great time it has been so far…So much to share with the LITO readers. I guess I’ll start at the beginning. Hopefully, I won’t fall asleep at my keyboard like Pam did!
First off let me just say how wonderful everyone has been. The cast is everywhere! They have been out and about mingling with the fans. They are very accessable, which is awesome! Here is my very favorite picture so far, it’s of Executive Producer, Greg Daniels and lil ol’ me!
