This idea must have sprung from deep within the bowels of Michael Scott’s mind… it is SO bad, it might possibly be good.

I can’t really imagine how it could be good. I think when I would watch it, it would just make me miss the real office.

I gotta admit, this sounds like a terrible idea. One of my favorite things about The Office is it’s uniqueness when compared to other shows on network TV. A spin-off would ruin this aspect for me.

I agree with Bob on this one. At first thought, it sounds terrible. But then, after mulling it over a little it could work. I love the uncomfortable humor of the show. Another funny show to watch would not be a bad thing!

Well, I agree that it could be awful, and I’m skeptical that in trying to squeeze too much cash out of a good - great1 - thing, they could go wrong. But, yes, if very carefully done I could imagine it working.

Maybe the best way would be to minimize the Office connection by focusing on the Documentary crew. After all, they’re the premise of the show…I can imagine, for example, either a show about them (how do they “edit” their show? who are they working for? why are they still working on this documentary?) or about another of their projects - that is, they go to another work setting to start a new documentary.

Can’t wait to see what happens…

Spinoffs are usually never as good as the original. But they didn’t think that a US version of The Office could be made that was as good as the British one and look how that turned out.

If they are willing to make it, I’m willing to give it a try.

THIS WOULD BE TERRIBLE! NO NO NO NO!!!
IF THIS OCCURS THE OFFICE WILL HAVE A MAJOR DOWNFALL AND THEY WILL BECOME LAZY AND POPULAR IN THE MAINSTREAM! IT”S ALREADY BECOMING MAINSTREAM ENOUGH!! I CAN’T TAKE IT!
