Why I love “The Office” and its Actors/Writers

The following quote is taken from http://www.unitedhollywood.com

“The Office has shut down for good. Around 2:00 pm Tuesday. The crew has been asked back Wednesday to strike the location, but there will be no more shooting. This is thanks to a complete staff picket from 4:15 am to 3:00 Monday (when they called the day) and 6:45 am Tuesday until they shut it down. It is also thanks to a number of WGAmebers/actors making principled stands and not reporting to work.

Additionally, I’ve been told that Steve Carell informed NBC he is unable to report to work because he is suffering from “enlarged balls.” Not just enlarged, I’d say, but brass ones. The source on this one adds, “We wish him a happy, slow recovery.”

I support the WGA and hope you all do too! God, I love Steve Carrell he is such a nice guy. (THIS IS TRUE) I actually met him recently (about a month ago) while he was jogging to get ready for a new movie. I drove by and yelled, “Thanks for the Laughs Steve!!” He kindly replied, “Thanks for watching!” This interaction just goes to show how we rely on them for entertainment just as much as they rely on us for their success.

Great post, but when I read that artical, the words THE OFFICE HAS SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD really freaked me out. I am assuming they mean until the strike is over, but those words are horrid together!
    GO WGA!
