Help Us, LITO readers!

Tuesday, November 13, 2007

Ok, I know I’m not the only one who get’s a little frustrated with LITO, right? I know some of the permanent links don’t seem to be active. I mean those links to the right of the LITO homepage, not the links in my posts, which are perfect, of course. lol
Anyway, the site owners are aware of the problem. They would love some reader feedback about what problems they have been experiencing with our site so they can fix it right up!
We here at LITO want all of our readers to experience the full embrace of Office-love, and one can’t do that with an inactive link, can one? I know, I know…that’s what she said. :)
So please comment about the problems you’ve been having with the site and I will pass it on…
And as always, thanks for reading!
~Donna

Donna, when I access the home page, I don’t even SEE any links to the right of the last post. The link to “previous posts” is missing, too. Nothing appears except the most recent article. Then when I go to add a comment, the missing links re-appear. What is this bad craziness?

I once tried to post a comment with a link and it wasn’t accepted. I eventually just went to the forum and opened up a thread after failing too many times to count. (Bob – that was the Local Ad pic that you couldn’t view at NBC.com. It was originally going to just be a comment under the deleted scenes post for that ep.)

The chat page has been broken for months. This has to do with the whole change from lifeintheoffice.com to lito.pyropath.com, which we tried to fix in the CMS but obviously failed.

That’s the only problem I’ve had so far. If there’s anything I can do to help, please let me know… Also, has anyone tried contacting Matt from the pyropath team? He was the one that settled the situation with the inappropriate ads on the main page a few months ago… Maybe he can help with some of this. I think I can dig up his email address if you need.

So, it looks like I’m the ONLY one experiencing problems with the home page loading. OR… (using “Michael Scott” logic here)… maybe almost EVERYBODY is having trouble loading the home page, even worse than I am, so they are UNABLE to comment on the problem, even though they WANT to. So… ipso facto… that would make this problem epidemical. Yeppers, that’s it!

I have tried numerous times to unsubscribe from the site e-mails with no luck. I wish that would get fixed.

I now use the RSS feed.

the most frustrating part of this site is the lack of tabbed-browser support with these links. even links to a new window would be better than jogging back to this site every time i click one
