Mindy Ephron (Kelly Kapoor) is not only an actor but one of the shows writers and producers. She has a great blog that I love to read. I feel like I get a small taste of what the good life is… ;)

Anyways, you may have already seen the video that we posted on the writers dealing with the strike. Mindy has written an article for her blog explaining her stance.

Anyway, I’ve hesitated writing about the strike, because while I believe passionately that we striking for a good reason, I didn’t want to incur the contempt of non-writers or fans of the show.

Why? It’s simple. I may be the single worst person on this planet who could speak out for the writers plight, because: 1) I am an adult who is lucky enough to have enough disposable income that I literally have a website talking about how I fritter away money on stupid shit. I’m doing fine. and 2) I’m a comedy writer, not a politician or even a person known to make persuasive arguments. I’ve solved most of my conflicts by crying or threatening to kill myself. Opponents of the strike could point to this URL as the reason why writers are the worst form of overpaid greedbags, the way al Qaeda shows “The Anna Nicole Show” to recruit people to suicide bomb Western places.

Just a quick update for all of you who are supporting the WGA.

“Breaking news from the WGA – the AMPTP has agreed to come back to the table on November 26th. Now, let’s hope they are prepared to make a fair deal. This is progress. Everyone wants to go back to work. Everyone wants fair compensation for their work.”

Also, Unitedhollywood.com is asking viewers to send pencils to the big media “moguls” through their Pencils2MediaMoguls program. I urge you all to do this.
For only $1 you can send 12 pencils to the major network heads, while at the same time voicing your support for your favorite show. Of course, I paid the $1 and now a few pencils are now making their way to Jeffrey Immelt, CEO of NBC.

Remember – We have a power to make a difference and of course, we want THE OFFICE BACK!!!

Ok, I know I’m not the only one who get’s a little frustrated with LITO, right? I know some of the permanent links don’t seem to be active. I mean those links to the right of the LITO homepage, not the links in my posts, which are perfect, of course. lol
Anyway, the site owners are aware of the problem. They would love some reader feedback about what problems they have been experiencing with our site so they can fix it right up!
We here at LITO want all of our readers to experience the full embrace of Office-love, and one can’t do that with an inactive link, can one? I know, I know…that’s what she said. :)
So please comment about the problems you’ve been having with the site and I will pass it on…
And as always, thanks for reading!
