International trailer for “Get Smart”
Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway (The Devil Wears Prada) will be starring in “Get Smart”, due out in theatres June 20th. Here is a recently released international trailer for the film (and before you ask, yes it was the subtitles that clued me in. lol). It looks funny. Check out Steve Carell doing splits. I laughed at the last scene in this preview, when Steve Carell’s character tells the bad guy, “Maybe you have underestimated me.” I expected the follow-up line to be “Well, maybe next time you will ESTIMATE me.”
Also, is that REALLY Steve Carell doing that split? Or was it his “body double?” (Maybe I just wish I could do one.)

Well ya know, Steve Carell is pretty limber. He did manage to get his foot all the way up on Jim’s desk in that scene in The Secret when Michael suggests to Jim that they go out for lunch. You never know what that man is truly capable of.
I really can’t wait to see this movie. I can’t imagine any other actor better for this role than Steve. It will be classic.
