Jumbodump.com has a radio interview with BJ Novak from Boston area radio show, “Elliot in the Morning”. It was recorded right after the Superbowl, so it’s a little bit dated. In the interview, he chats about being a stand-up comedian first, and writer/actor second. He also has nothing but praise for the show that made him famous saying, “I’ll miss the stand-up (when the strike is over), but in general everyone is just dreaming of getting back to Michael and Dwight.” You can listen to that full interview here. ~Donna

Wow! Two “sexy” posts in a row. Must be because of that lunar eclipse happening tonight…
Anyway, onto the post! Rainn Wilson is one busy man lately. He’s got tons of projects in the works right now. One of these upcoming films, called The Rocker, will have Mr. Wilson showing a little backside.
Elle.com chatted with Rainn about how it feels to be a 40-something, nerdy sex symbol and what he thinks of Dwight and Angela’s *ahem* “relations”.
ELLE: How do you imagine the sex life of Dwight and Angela on The Office?
RW: I don’t think they’ve actually gone all the way. I see a lot of full-scale frottage, like really sexy but clothed; they’re probably both in long underwear.

Will there be an Office Convention 2008? Well, we don’t really know for sure….yet. And, who will the “mystery guest” be for Scranton’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade?!
According to my contact from theofficeconvention.com, Tucker Hottes, there is no real news to report on a convention for this year yet, but it is very much on their minds. Read on »
With the Writer’s Strike ending, of course every fan is wondering “when will a new show be aired?!”
Well, wonder no longer! Greg Daniels has confirmed to the New York Times that The Office will return with new episodes starting April 10th.
Greg Daniels, executive producer of “The Office,” said, “We’re going to do another six,” though he added, “We might be able to squeeze in seven if NBC asks for them.”
“The Office” had a script ready to shoot the week the strike began, and that will be the first one the show produces. A second script was going to be the Christmas show. “We’re going to throw that one out,” Mr. Daniels said. He added that the writing team would discuss this week how to advance the show’s story lines.
“I’m tempted to just leap ahead to where we would have been,” Mr. Daniels said. Read the full NYTimes article here.
I’m sad that the planned Christmas show has to be scrapped! I wouldn’t mind a little Christmas in April…Alas, no one asked me for my opinion ![]()
Still, the fact that I can mark a definite date on my calendar for a new Office episode is just so, well…I think Jim Halpert said it best here,…WOW!!! ~Donna
The co-star of NBC’s “The Office” says he dropped trou for a few comedy sketches he taped as host of the Spirit Awards, the Oscars of independent film.
“When I signed up I said, `I’m not a standup comedian. I’m happy to tell jokes and stuff but it’s not really what I do,’” Wilson told The Associated Press on Wednesday.
“My (butt) is actually revealed a couple of different times, so if anyone’s curious about what my (butt) might look like …” he trailed off. “I don’t know why they would be. It’s all for a laugh. My body being exposed is good for a great deal of laughs. They use it on `The Office’ quite a bit when they need a laugh – they have me take my shirt off.”
