 Rainn Wilson chat’s with The Winnepeg Sun about his new starring role in the movie, “The Rocker”, which is due out in theatres this August.

“I play a drummer from an up-and-coming heavy metal band (in the 1980s) and I get kicked out right before they make it really big,” said Wilson, who is best known for playing Dwight Schrute on The Office.

“Then 20 years later, my life has kind of gone nowhere and I get a second shot at fame by joining my high school nephew’s garage rock band.

“So I wear a nice heavy metal wig and I reveal a lot of my butt crack and my torso.”

Boston Magazine recently tallied the “61 Best New Things About Boston”. And who made that list at #30? That’s right, our favorite Office cut-up, John Krasinski!

“Of course, Krasinski never actually had an office job. Growing up the youngest of three boys in Newton, where his parents still live (mom Mary Clare is a nurse; dad Ron is an internist), he spent his afterschool hours playing sports and his summers counseling 12-year-olds at Camp Chickami in Wayland. He was the good boy—did well enough at competitive Newton South High School to get into Brown, didn’t really date, and generally behaved himself. “I was probably a wuss,” he admits. I feign surprise. “Yeah. I never wanted to get into trouble. Like on Halloween, if my friends were like, ‘Let’s go egg blah-blah-blah,’ I’d be like, ‘Aww man, I’m sick, I gotta go home.’”

Hollywood Reporter states:
“So, where do we go from here?

That was the question posed Tuesday to a panel of industry leaders at the Hollywood Radio & Television Society’s Newsmaker Luncheon — a little more than six weeks after the 100-day WGA strike came to an end. The answer still seems unclear.

When the strike ended, “The Office” executive producer Greg Daniels said, Universal Media Studios, which produces the NBC comedy, took writers from several of its shows out for a nice dinner to make amends. Since then, he said, things haven’t been as contentious between the networks/studios and writers as they were during the strike.

“The executives in the scripted entertainment department are glad to see the strike over, and all I get (from my writers) is relief to be back to work,” he said, adding that his writers are at work on another set of “Office” webisodes, following the 10 that became available in summer 2006 on NBC.com.”

Scranton Branch Office blogs;

“Many consumers got their first glimpse of the practice last year when actor BJ Novak appeared on Conan O’Brien’s late-night talk program and showed him the size difference between a Cadbury egg of today and one from just a few years ago.

“What does Cadbury think they’re pulling?” a shocked O’Brien said.

On its Web site, Cadbury said that the size of the eggs in the United Kingdom had stayed the same, but that its U.S. partner Hershey had decided to make them smaller for the states.”

This ran this morning on GMA and they used the footage with BJ Novak on Conan O’Brien. You can read the article (including a link to the video) by clicking HERE.

The original Cadbury Egg is my absolute FAVORITE Easter treat, and I had no idea they were ripping me off! So, I need to say thank you to BJ Novak for uncovering this heinous crime! You’re the best BJ!! Almost a modern day superhero if you will…writing and acting in my favorite television show by day, and uncovering candy conspiracy’s at night. What a guy!!             ~Donna
