When Jan confronts Jim and Pam eating the candy bar, Jim says “I didn’t have any of it,” as he points his accusing finger at Pam. This occurs in the SAME episode where Jim attempts to bail out on the party, abandoning Pam! What’s up with THIS?
Jim is, and has always been, a flawed character. I kind of like that. No one’s perfect and the writer’s like to keep their character’s comically real. I like that Jim’s kind of a jerk. Even how he handled the break-up with Karen was jerky-ish. Ha Ha! Is that a word, “Jerky-ish”. Well, if not, I’m declaring it one…:)
