OMG!!!!!

I’m just going to through it out there that this was by far the best Office episode since Season 3’s “The Job”. It’s going to be a long summer. It’s great we have the webisodes to get us through.

More of Chris’s Recap after the Jump.. ***Beware Spoilers for those who are on the West Coast***

~Chris

I’m so hyper right now, I’m just going to write everything that I can think of really quickly. Feel free to giver your own $.02 in the comments.

DWIGHT AND ANGELA AT THE END — by far the best part.. no further comment needed.
Jan is pregnant but it’s not Michael’s! She went to the sperm bank next to IHOP; how hilarious?
Our JAM was great, but Andy (I was wondering where he was the entire episode.) ruined it. I think Pam right now is wondering why Jim didn’t propose, but is blind to Jim’s reasoning.

Well I’m going to bed I’ll up date this post tomorrow with the episode and some more thoughts. Good Night LITO land.

That episode was fantastic and amazing and several other vague and positive words. My heart broke over Pam’s face when she was posing with Toby … and the Angela/Dwight tag was superb. Also, I really liked She-Toby. Her interactions with Kevin, especially …

All it all, the episode was grrrrrrrrrape! … Soda!

    OMG!

What an episode! I am so excited and, just, wow. Ryan was really surprising and what happened was *really* deserved.

    HOW AWESOME!

    Beautiful.

Although, I admit, I thought Ryan’s arrest was a drug bust!

Hell yeah for Jim not taking Ryan’s crap. And double hell yeah to Dwangela!

The Kevin-Holly interactions were by far the funniest part of the episode! Loved the vending machine exchange. I hope all of America screamed at the TV like I did when Andy interrupted/ruined Jim’s proposal! Anyone think Jim will go to NYC for Ryan’s corporate position to be with Pam?!

Wow. I was blown away by this episode. I wasn’t a big fan of this season - it seemed a little to over-the-top and zany - but this episode really brought back what made The Office so good: a quiet, sad desperation. Shit. So much went wrong. It was so relentlessly bleak - almost as unhappy as the British series - but also extremely funny, particularly with She-Toby (AKA Beadie from The Wire!) thinking that Kevin was mentally handicapped. Amazing episode, and now they have a lot of material to work with next season.

Just when you think the show is losing a bit of momentum because Jim and Pam are together, they pull this! The best episode ever. I watched it by myself and SCREAMED several obseneties during the show out of disbelief. Man, it’s gonna be a long summer.

the season finale was pretty great except for the jim and pam hiccup. okay, just freaking propose for crying out loud. And the whole Andy proposal to Angela? Why? He’s a self absorbed dolt but he’s not that stupid to realize that Angela isn’t into him. Best thing about the whole episode was the she-toby’s interactions w/kevin. comic genius. As for Ryan, obviously predictable considering he was blowing coke for an entire episode a few weeks back. still, the best episode of the season.

I lol’d hard at Andy knocking over Darrel’s keyboard…She-Toby thinking Kevin is “slow”, dwight and the Racoon…Jan going to a sperm bank to “make this one count”…and, of course, Dwight and Angela at the end made me…speechless.

Of course, if I was Jim, Andy would be owing me a crap load of $20s…

To say that this Season ended with a cliffhanger is an understatement. The writers left so many story lines open to go in so many directions they can litterally take things anywhere next season.

What will happen with Dwangela being the foremost question. But what will happen with JAM, HR, Michael/Jan, Ryan? will Phyllis end up the new head of the party planning committee after showing off her awesome talent?

    The questions are endless.

Such an exceptional episode, it definitely left me wanting more.

The first deleted scene is up. There will be 6 so that should keep us going for at least another week and then we can look forward to the webisodes over the summer The Office is the gift that keeps on giving.

I agree with Jeremy. My loudest laugh of the show was when Andy dragged Darryl’s keyboard to the ground. I really liked the episode, there was SO much to enjoy and ponder and speculate over. But the destructive aftermath of an over-enthusiastic goof like Andy, combined with the unseen frosty look on Darryl’s face… that’s golden for me!

If I was Jim, I would make Andy pay me for all the rented stuff. How is Jim going to propose now? The best scene was at the vending machine, I think. I think that last scene with Angela and Dwight shows that Angela and Andy won’t stay together. I loved the “I said, okay!”
