Sorry, my pet peeve from this episode is Jan driving an hour and a half from Scranton to Allentown for a Lamaze class. The writers have been pretty good with local Pennsylvania references, but they really blew this one, IMO. If Jan was living in Allentown, she wouldn’t be grocery shopping in Scranton. I know this may be a minor point, but as a PA native, it irked me.

Unrealistic, yes, but I think it just had to happen for the show, though.

Same here, LibertyChick! I was born in Scranton, and my sister, who is a health care professional, still lives there. Going all the way to Allentown for a Lamaze class is more ridiculous than when Michael sent Ryan to Stroudsburg for a pudding cup!

I haven’t been this irked since they took the train that doesn’t exist to Philly!

So my question is, where is Pam going to live in NY? How is she going to afford it on top of going to school? Well, let me tell you…someone has to fill the newly vacant DM Corporate job in NY and since someone has already interviewed for it once before…well, I think you know where I’m going with this. Also, since Ryan is in jail, his apartment can now be used by Pam and Jim…ah, wouldn’t that be nice???! GREAT season finale…I will miss it during the summer :-(

Sorry LibraryChick! I accidentally called you “LibertyChick.” I must have been thinking of Betsy Ross, a friend of Ben Franklin’s, and an Office fan from Philadelphia.

LOL - not a problem, Robert! You mentioned the non-existent train from Scranton to Philly. Yes, that irked me a little, too. But, some things just have to be done to move a plot point along. The finale left me frustrated, but of course I’m anxious to see how they bring things together in the fall.

I think you two should write a letter to Greg Daniels offering your expertise on “all things Scranton”. Why not?! Couldn’t hurt, right? He might appreciate the help from some locals.
