More Season 4 DVD info
DVD Times reports Universal Studios Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of The Office Season 4 on 2nd September 2008 priced at $49.98 SRP. Season 4 of the US adaptation starring Steve Carell.
Episodes are spread across four-discs presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen with English DD5.1 Surround audio and English SDH and Spanish subtitles. Extras include:

I have to say, I’m a little disappointed about the commentaries. That is my favorite part of the DVD extras and I was hoping for more cast member participation. :( ~Donna

Donna - I agree with you on the skimpy commentaries. They are the best and they don’t even have Steve Carrell or John Krasinski on one of the 4. John is the best in the commentaries he was in for the S1 & 2 DVD’s. He was only on one or 2 of the S3 commentaries and now he’s not in any of the S4. I may be mistaken, but I believe there were 14 episodes in S4, why are there only commentaries on 4 of them when they are charging more for S4 than the 3 previous seasons?

I agree HDF. I don’t understand it. It’s a real disappointment
