Michael Shur, who both portrays cousin Mose and is a writer/producer on The Office, recently appeared with his family on Live with Regis and Kelly. Michael is married to Regis Philbin’s daughter JJ, and they have one five month-old son, William Xaviar Shur. Proud Grandpa Regis wanted to show off his new grandson. And after seeing the baby, I can’t say as I blame him! To see the clip, click HERE.    ~Donna

I just loove the internet! I was surfing around YouTube.com (which is just awesome, by the way) and came across these clips combining The Office and the upcoming Batman movie, The Dark Knight. Now, that is not a combination that I could have ever imagined, but here it is! And I thought since this is an Office fan site, and The Dark Knight is opening this weekend nationwide, why not share these clips with LITO readers? I got a kick out of them, so you might too.

To give you a little background, these videos combine clips from The Office with audio from the trailer for The Dark Knight. Here they are. Enjoy! ~Donna

According to various reports, Saturday Night Live star Amy Poehler is in talks to star in The Office spin-off from NBC, which is set to premiere at mid-season.    Variety is reporting that Poehler is in “final negotiations” to join the spin-off, but that the spin-off won’t be a spin-off at all and will be an entirely new series with no crossover characters.  This conflicts with earlier reports that some characters would be introduced in the first half of The Office’s newest season, then make their way onto the spin-off.

Rumors have been flying since they announced that there would be an Office spin-off. Add this to that list until it’s confirmed. Still, it’s fun to speculate… Thanks to HotDogFingers for the tip. To read the full article, click HERE.    ~Donna

Here it is! The first webisode of the summer. And I don’t know about you, but after watching this, I want ice cream! lol ~Donna

LITO would like to wish Phyllis Smith a very happy 57th birthday! Mrs. Bob Vance adds alot of heart to our favorite show. Some of my favorite Phyllis moments are:

~season 2, “Email Survellience” when Pam asked Phyllis if she knew of any “secret office romances”, and she replied cryptically, “you tell me”, referring to a possible secret Jim/Pam romance (if only! lol).

~season 2, “Sexual Harassment” when Toby said it was probably best to disclose any office romances to HR, and Phyllis replied, “even a one-night stand?” I’m still dying to know who that was!

~season 3, “Traveling Salesman”, when Phyllis gussied up herself and Karen in that ridiculous hair & makeup because she knew her client’s wife had that type of “look”.

~season 4, “Goodbye Toby” when Phyllis discovered Dwight and Angela in a compromising position in the last few moments of the show.

What is your favorite “Phyllis” moment?

Here is a fan-vid from brooklynjinx in honor of Phyllis. Enjoy! ~Donna

Mindy Kaling and Brian Baumgartner took time out of their busy schedules to chat about their upcoming “Office” related events. Both Mindy and Brian will be in Scranton this summer. Mindy, will be hosting the “Scranton Games“. Brian will be in town a little later visiting a charity he played for in “Celebrity Family Feud”. Brian also chatted a little about the upcoming “webisodes”.

Angela Kinsey, and her 2 month old daughter, Isabel Ruby, appear in the July 14th edition of People magazine (on news stands now). There is a lovely photo (see left) and a cute article. Here’s a quote:

“It’ll be hard to leave her (with an on-set nanny) if she’s crying,” says Kinsey, who credits breast-feeding with helping her lose 27lbs. of pregnancy weight in a mere 6 weeks. “But maybe I’ll use that frustration when I have to yell at Dwight!”

Ok… 27lbs?! I literally gained more than double that with my three pregnancies! If she wasn’t so adorable, I’d have to hate her!
