Hurray! Jenna’s finally free from Rainn Wilson’s trunk! Today she posted a new MySpace blog about her experiences being “held captive” for the last 15 days.

She also loves kittens! Jenna is promoting a kitten rescue fundraising event, “The Furball at the Skirball”, taking place in Los Angeles on September 14th.  There will be lots of prizes and Office-signed-stuff, memorabilia, etc…

For more details about this event and her “captivity”,  check out Jenna’s full blog HERE.

LITO would like to wish Office writer/producer/actor, Gene Stupinsky, a very Happy 31st Birthday! Gene was kind enough to grant LITO an interview during the dark days of last spring’s Writer’s Strike. Most of you will remember Gene as one of Bob Vance’s delivery men in “Valentine’s Day” and “Drug Testing”.

This year, Gene has also added “screenplay writer for major motion pictures” to his impressive resume. The movie, “Year One”, starring Jack Black and Michael Cera (Superbad, Juno) is due out in theatres next June. Gene co-wrote the screenplay with Harold Ramis for the upcoming “biblical comedy”. So, here’s to you Gene! Have a wonderful birthday!  ~Donna

Variety reports that Office writer/producer/actor Michael Shur, just signed a 7-figure deal with Universal Media Studios to create, develop and exec produce comedy series for the studio — which he’s already been busy doing for months. The deal includes Schur’s work with Office exec producer Greg Daniels on a new NBC companion half-hour starring Amy Poehler. Schur will take exec producer and co-creator credit.

Before The Office, Schur stared out producing “Weekend Update” for SNL.

“It was Schur’s “SNL” relationship with Poehler that eventually brought the thesp aboard. Poehler’s casting also cleared up the dilemma Schur and Daniels — who were going back and forth between two potential series concepts — faced: Develop an actual “Office” spinoff or the non-”Office” spinoff with the female lead.”

Well, so now we know some more about the spin-off. Amy Poehler is definitely on board, and it will not be an actual Office spin-off but just a non-Office spinoff with a female lead. Honestly, I can’t wait to see what they come up with! I love Amy Poehler and my children love her cartoon “The Mighty B”. So win-win for my family! :) Donna

I really liked this Premiere.com interview with Rainn Wilson. I think that alot of the same stuff gets covered over and over again with celebrities in the different interviews that they do while promoting their films, etc… And yes, there are some “repeat” questions out there for those of you who follow these things closely (like me ;) ). But overall, it was a good interview and I even learned some stuff. So, win-win!

You want to learn some stuff about Rainn too? Well, you can. Just click HERE.    ~Donna

Enjoy!

LITO would like to wish Steve Carell a very happy 46th birthday!

The Office wouldn’t be the same without awkward bumbling boss, Michael Scott.

Steve is now a major movie star, starring in such blockbusters as “Get Smart” and “The Forty-Year Old Virgin.

But for those of us who love The Office, he had already won a place in our hearts before all that fame and fortune. So Happy Birthday Steve from all your fans! We love the things that you choose to be! ~Donna

Wow NBC is really capitalizing on Office promos during the Olympics. Enjoy!
