Good Karma + Office tickets?

That’s right, you can get both!

Good Karma = Donate to a very worthy cause, SCI Research Advancement to cure paralysis now.

Office Tickets = For every dollar you donate, you are entering to win 2 tickets to the set of The Office. This prize also included round-trip airfare & hotel! Better yet, every dollar you donate increases your odds of winning this prize, so win-win!

Click HERE for all the details. And thanks to Bobblehead Gary for the link.

Good luck!   ~Donna

Wow, this is an awesome contest. The only problem is that you have to wait 10 months to find out if you’re the winner. Imagine how many entries there will be by then. The only thing that concerns me is #5 under the rules and restrictions set forth by NBC:

5 - Understand that if production of “the office” is cancelled prior to the Winner’s set visit, NBC Universal (NBCU) will make a reasonable effort to provide a set visit to the winner and one guest on another NBCU show filmed in Los Angeles, California

I know they probably [I]have[/I} to put that in there, but that’s a scary thought.

You’re right, Suri. The sudden, unexpected cancellation of The Office IS a scary thought, but something the legal eagles must insist upon.

Rule number 7 is a weird one, too. “Must wear appropriate footwear on the walking tour; no sandals, flip-flops or open-toed shoes permitted.” They’re warning the ONE winner almost a YEAR in advance about unsuitable tourist attire!

It’s probably a liability issue as well. G-d forbid some loose camera equipment falls on an exposed toe and breaks a bone - law suit city.

We are three college students who were given an internet marketing project on social networking. Our goal is to find out how much power and influence social networking can have. So this is what we came up with:

    Get Us On The Office!!!!!

Our team has created this blog, a twitter account (GetOnTheOffice), and a Facebook fan page (GetOnTheOffice) to help us connect to the rest of the world as fast as you can!!….we have about three weeks…..with the goal of getting us on an episode of “The Office”. Furthermore, hoping to influence an episode where 3 college kids (us) teach Dunder Mifflin about these social networking sites!

If we can get enough buzz and followers, we are hoping to have an impact and get the attention of NBC and their producers to pitch this idea and get us a little spoof on national television!!

So…we ask of everyone in the blogging world to post on this blog, raise its awareness, and use whatever power you may have to achieve the goal of our class project.
