“Twas the night before Christmas, and at Dunder-Mifflin
Not a creature was stirring, not even one snifflin’…”
OK, that’s enough of that… I am so sick of “Night Before Christmas” parodies… I think even Michael Scott would agree that they have been done-to-death… well, maybe not Michael Scott… Read on »

“Christmas gift suggestions: To your enemy, forgiveness; To an opponent, tolerance; To a friend, your heart; To a customer, service; To all, charity; To every child, a good example. To yourself, respect.” ~ Oren Arnold Read on »
Boy, where has the time gone? “Classy Christmas” was the 5th Office Christmas episode (it would’ve been the seventh but the first season started after Christmas and the fourth season writers strike wiped out that one). How can we be in the seventh season of The Office? Doesn’t seem possible. But it’s nice to see that after seven years they can still turn out a Christmas episode that, while all over the map, was enjoyable. Read on »
I did not have great expectations for this week’s Office, and what-do-ya-know, I was pleasantly surprised. And as for the prospects of a good “Scrantonicity,” I was prepared to delve deeply into the episode to come up with something. “China” was a nice surprise. An Office episode, set IN the office, and…with NO singing! It featured relatable, office-type scenarios for the characters to work with. In short, I felt the episode was wonderful. A win-win for this fan.
The cold-open features Dwight working on his Pedi-dexterity. What you ask? That’s what I said. J Seriously though, pedi-dexterity is how physically skillful your feet/toes are. Dwight and his naked foot (eww!) are “exercising” within his office space so that he can have the foot dexterity of a chimp. Why? Don’t ask why people! This is Dwight we’re talking about!Jim decides to mess with him a bit and puts a cup of hot coffee on Dwight’s desk to see his twinkle-toes in action. Instead of admitting de-feet (get it? lol) Dwight tries to grasp the steaming coffee with his toes and the office staff watches as it pours all over his own crotch-region. Ouch! I enjoyed this Jim-prank because it reminded me of the old days (remember him popping Dwight‘s ”fitness orb” with scissors?). No big set-up or elaborate prank. Nothing for Jim to do but react to the ridiculousness in front of him. Now, onto the episode. Read on »
